I got stuck here during the COVID-19 lockdown. However, the city made it terrible for foreigners (I'm thankful I was staying at the Panja Resort). Not only were flights cancelled last minute, but hotels were told to close. SERIOUSLY!
Not as busy as other cities in the Philippines. Has everything you need.
Unlike other cities in the Philippines Puerto Princesa was not to busy or congested. Great shopping and restaurants.
The natural scenery was beautiful and people are nice and friendly. Some tricycle drivers take advantage of tourist, but most are honest and very helpful.
Amazing.... I love the islands and the food.
Traffic can be a bit mad sometimes and too many drivers are too pushy for tuktuk or tricycle. Jewelry sellers are also very pushy wont leave you alone. Its a very limited smoking island, hard to smoke anywhere as they have harsh rules..
