"The staff at the Strand Palace were helpful and welcoming. The room was a fine size for an overnight stay with all wanted amenities. The bathroom was neat but very small. Shower had good water pressure and the Moston Brown toiletries were lovely and welcome. Our room was ready early which made it easy to freshen up and leave our bags on arrival. That was very much appreciated. "

"The room was very hot. The weather was very good but even with the air conditioning turned to as low as possible, it was still too hot Buffet breakfast was good albeit a little busy and chaotic at times. "

"Location of the hotel is great, tube is just around the block, safe and clean neighbourhood. I have just one complaint about our check-in. The first guy behind the desk gave us non working lift/room cards, that was sorted out with another lady who was very kind, but then we came with working cards into occupied room from another guests. So we had to go back to the lobby and sort this out. We got another room, cards were working this time and additional bed for our child was brought right away...

"Good choice for staying near the airport. Impressed by insulation from the airport noise. Runways and take offs were clearly visible from our room, and we never heard a sound while watching a jet take off. "

"Unfortunately the hotel is undergoing some renovations , one of which are the elevators. There were only two working elevators and there would be a ridiculously long line every time I wanted to go to my room. Then, of course, the elevators would be full when they were gong down . Everyone was frustrated and complaining . Our room was supposed to come with bathrobes and we asked repeatedly but got nothing. Finally someone from housekeeping told us they no longer had them.
