"One of the best hotels in London"
Everything in this hotel is either beautiful or astonishing. Impecably dressed staff also gives the hotel a special glamour. Great location, one of a kind spa and excellent food makes this hotel our favorite place to stay in London from now on.

Grange St. Paul's

10 Godliman Street, London - Map
"Large hotel close to many attractions."
Well positioned, mainly friendly staff but some a little surly. Room upgraded although lighting poor and cushions on the bed stained, yuk! Small intimate restaurant food & service excellent. Breakfast something of a zoo with tables too close & people milling about every where, although staff willing n working hard. Fire alarm at 3am did not enhance the stay. Overall a good experience but could be better.

Hotel is quite new and I found it welcoming. Right by the river and close to Blackfriars. No complaints at all.

this converted brewery and associated buildings have been stylishly renovated into an elegant boutique hotel. Clean comfortable room with all the amenities you could need. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The hotel could not be better located for access to the Barbican and surrounding area.

"An upscale hotel in every sense."
My wife and I wanted to stay in a 5-star hotel close to London's city center and we booked out stay in the Ritz base on customer reviews on Expedia. We were not disappointed. The hotel accommodations and staff were outstanding, and they couldn't do enough to make our stay a very enjoyable one. The room rates are not for the feint of heart but you will get what you pay for.

"Appalling restaurant service but great hotel/staff"
A half cooked inedible steak that I asked to take home in a doggy bag instead of eating turned into a major ordeal. Firstly, I was fully billed for it, then was told I could not take it with me (still not sure why, hiding the evidence perhaps?) Instead I was given scraps presumably from other diners for said dog. Weird beyond belief. I realize this is not a Michelin restaurant and never will be, but the Maitre D made sure all knew he was the most important person in the room. The steak ended up complimentary on the bill but still, the whole incident ruined an otherwise excellent stay. The rooms at this hotel and the reception staff are both excellent.
