"Top notch in every way "
The attention to detail is astounding at the Rosewood. The hotel is so beautifully decorated and the service is impeccable. This was my third visit and I will return again. Definitely the best in London.

"Nice and central hotel"
Hotel is very central, close to tube station. Rooms are big for crumpy London standards and clean with all the facilities. But I couldn't help but notice that whicever room you choose, you can't have a view of the river. There are only a few executive suits available with the view of St. Paul church, even they are over looked by ever so close office buildings and flats and end up closing your curtains for a bit of privacy even in the day time. Reception area is small and very busy, waiting in the que like a supermarket check out. But staff is very helpful and professional. Overall experience is good.

"Very good hotel in a convenient and central positi"
The location is excellent being walking distance to trafalfar square, Big Ben, London eye, etc. Ask for a river room to get great views of the Thames scene. Pleasant staff, good facilities. Expensive but it is central London.

"So handy for central London"
Thoroughly pleasant experience. Being so close to National Art Gallery/ Trafalgar square was a godsend for an old pensioner, who struggles to walk far. The hotel is quirky, which gives it a unique charm. Whenever we stay in London in the future, it will always be here.

"Modernized Classic"
The May Fair is a modernized version of its original 1927 classic. It retains its elegance and first-rate service, while being young and sleek. It's location in the heart of May Fair, yet off too-busy Piccadilly, is ideal. Once can walk to many London attractions from the hotel, and it's surrounded by many of London's finest eateries.

"Fantastic hotel views are stunning. "
Although it's very expensive the luxurious bedrooms and stunning views are well worth it. Thought the cost of breakfast was outrageous and dislike service charges being automatically made. However it was a wonderful experience and one I look forward to repeating again.

"Hopefully the renovation ordeal will come to an rn"
We enjoyed our room. It was good sized, well-appointed, stylish, clean and quiet. About all you need. It was the arrival that almost did us in. When our driver finally found the temporary entrance and dropped us off, no one was there at the door to tell us where to go. We were left to figure out for ourselves just where to go to check in. A narrow winding staircase seemed like a good enough but somewhat risky guess. There was a rather obscure sign giving directions BUT the sign want posted where it would do any good. It was at the top if the stairs! Laden down with our heavy, big bags (we were on a 5 week trip) we headed up the stairs not even knowing if we were headed in the direction of the front desk. See photos of the stairs. If we hadn't prepaid, I'd have turned around and gone somewhere else--except I want sure if be able to get the bags back down those doggone brutal stairs! During our 3-night stay we occasionally saw a doorman, but that did us no good! As it turned out, we enjoyed our room so much (which likely benefited in comparison to a series of Spanish and Moroccon small hotels) we're glad we stayed. . Breakfast (one day only) was great but outrageously expensive.
