"Excellent hotel"
I had a terrific one night stay at the South Place Hotel. From the beginning of my stay I was impressed with the service of the front of house team & this continued throughout- friendly & efficient with nice touches like a cup of coffee at check out. My room was very good, clean and modern. I loved the little touches like ear plugs & hang over kits, probably needed for some with the most incredible mini bar for out! Location was very good- near Moorgate & Liverpool St stations, a short walk to Spitafields & Shoreditch.

Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We were busy site seeing most of the time we were in London, but it was nice at the end of the day to return to a clean and cozy room in which to relax.

"Looks great, was ok"
The hotel facilities are great. Very cutting edge with tablets to control everything in the rooms including lights, but I had a huge problem with wifi in my room. Maybe I was just too far from the router, but it was borderline unusable in my room. I could get it to work from my bed, but not the desk. Staff was kind of indifferent. I expected something more from them, but they only ever acknowledged my stay when I checked in. All in all, it was close to my office, but just didn't live up to the recommendations I had received from others. I also didn't get a VIP benefit, which isn't much, but it is something I've come to expect with status.

"Great hotel, interesting renovation."
We had a great stay at the Town Hall Hotel. Breakfast at the Corner Room was tasty, and Barry from maintenance did a great job getting our room temperature sorted. Only small compaint is the dizzying array of light switches just inside the door which seem to have no logical order; maybe label them or group them by room?

"Right at the City Centre's Edge. Perfect Hotel."
I wanted to see if a five star hotel was worth the money. And, the Montcalm at the Brewery did not disappoint. I see why people pay for five star hotels. You absolutely will get what you pay for. I booked this room, initially, through Expedia. I was given an upgrade room because of mobility issues. Lovely, lovely room. I ended up in the Montcalm Club Room. From the state of the art lighting to the two shower heads, everything is done just right. That bed was the best bed I have slept in from any hotel I have ever visited. It was massive and comfortable. The area is perfect. Just outside of the City Centre. I was able to grab coffee & a pastry across the street. I was able to watch a movie across the street. The Barbican is right across the street. The hotel is close to all sorts of transport. It was quiet & peaceful & I enjoyed every minute of it. The staff--second to none. From the moment my cab pulled up, I understood what five stars meant. I did not have to touch my luggage until I was in my room. Just exceptional. If you want it or need it & they can get it for you, they will. Just Ask. I enjoyed my stay so much that I booked a weekend in August on their site. No more Expedia. (It is not worth the headache). This is one thing, however, that Expedia got right. I was blessed with one of the best hotels in London. Book The Room, you will be glad that you did. (Oh, after you have settled in the room, someone comes by & checks that you are okay). Truly Top Notch!!!

"Elegant Hotel situated along the River. "
I recently stayed here with my Bridesmaids the night before my wedding and the night of. From the moment we arrived we were greater at the car and helped with all our luggage. Check in was smooth and we were passed on to Ben to tell us more about the hotel and escort us to our room. As we stepped into our room the view just blew me away. I had booked a Deluxe 2 bedroom suite. Tower Bridge was lit up the Shard was lit up and we could also see the wheel. We were on floor 2 (There are 9 floors) but our views were spectacular. The size of the apartment was super. Ben explained everything to us and then left to retrieve our bags. Within minutes he was back. He assured us if we needed anything the hotel had 24/7 reception cover and also gave us his shift times. The suite was a perfect size for us all to come together but also branch off and have our own space too! Beds were fabulous. Great nights sleep! In the morning just typical there was an abundance of odd little things we had forgotten to pack. Dialing 0 and gaining the speed and delivery of these odd items was impeccable! The suite was clean and tidy and housekeeping were fab too. When I booked I really hoped that the suite would look like the photos and it was even better. 5star service from the whole team. If you are lucky enough to meet Ben you'll experience world class etiquette! However everyone here was fantastic. I would highly recommend staying here and will be back soon!

"Very nice room and we liked the hotel pub too."
The room was clean and quite new, conveniently equipped, the air conditioning was great, and we quite like the pub the hotel is connected too as well. The staff were very helpful and professional, and the location very close to two underground stations.
