"We recently stayed at Secrets Maroma Beach and overall had a really great experience. The resort itself is beautiful, with one of the most stunning beaches we’ve ever seen—soft white sand and clear turquoise water that felt almost unreal. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The bad part was the seaweed, no fault of the resort. Incredible effort was made every day by the crew to keep it clean. The staff truly made our stay special. Our butler, Roberto, went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. He was attentive, professional, and always available when we needed anything. We also want to give a special thank you to Rodriguez Estefani, who was incredibly friendly, sweet, helpful, respectful, and resourceful throughout our stay. Interactions like these really made a difference and made us feel welcome and cared for. The food was another big plus. There were plenty of options, and we enjoyed most of the restaurants we tried. Service was consistently good, and the overall atmosphere of the resort felt relaxing and well-maintained. The only downside for us was the spa—we found it to be extremely overpriced for what was offered. While the facilities looked nice, the pricing didn’t feel justified compared to other similar experiences we’ve had. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider coming back, especially for the beach, the food, and the amazing staff."

"Breakfast had a variety of food to choose from. The only problem, you had to walk to the next resort if you wanted to eat before 8a. Several of the restaurants were open only certain times of the day, the majority of food places you have to make reservations for. The concierge were very little help. They keep pushing the timeshare and telling you to use the app for everything. Even calling for a spa treatment you have to use the app. They won't book it for you. Resort prices are absolutely inflated, $90 sunscreen at the spa. So pack your own. Even the tipping at this resort was weird, gave a bartender $20, no response. Tip the servers, it was like whatever. Just felt weird. You definitely do alot of walking. The theater is very good, live singing & dancing trying to keep you engaged. Pool is very large, but there is a section of the pool that is for members only, again trying to force the timeshare again. But overall we were happy, and if you need transfers from airport to resort use usa transfers, absolutely great on time and have a real time location. Rivas & Vega were our drivers, van was clean, cool and drinks were cold. "

"we stayed at Jungala Hotel, Great property, the rooms are spacious and clean, hotel has daily shows at the Mexican town, forgot what is called, the water park was awesome, our kids had a blast. Melani our concierge went above and beyond to make our stay superior, she really stand out and made the difference. Would definitely come back. "

"We stayed here for one night after spending four days at a larger, newer “luxury” resort nearby—and honestly, we enjoyed this stay so much more. The staff was incredible. Every single person went above and beyond and was genuinely kind. Being able to reach them 24/7 via WhatsApp (with quick responses) made everything seamless. The grounds are a little aged, and they could use some new loungers, but it wasn't a huge deal to us. Overall its still a nice place! We booked an oceanfront suite, and the room was huge and very clean. The only downside was that the plunge pools weren’t working, so we couldn’t use ours. Not a big deal for one night, but it would’ve been disappointing for a longer stay. The private hot tub area (clothing optional) is a great feature—you can reserve it via WhatsApp, and they fully clean and refill it after each use, which we really appreciated. There’s also another hot tub area (clothing required) that isn't private that they also did an immaculate job keeping clean and refilling with fresh water. ***Just for the hot tub areas*** The water temperature can be VERY inconsistent. That said, staff did their best to fix it (even bringing ice when it was too hot). Food was exceptional, drinks were great, and while the beach is limited, there’s decent access right next door. The pool area more than makes up for it. We're already planning our next trip to this resort so its safe to say we absolutely recommend it (especially for the price)! "
