I didn't like needing to use two elevators that required me to use my room key in order to get to my "handicapped" room where there was a regular tub to climb over and a shower head that I could not reach to use without calling my 6 foot spouse to get it off the hook."

"First time in New Orleans. Lovely hotel. Felt cheated that no ghosts turned up. The only issue is the hot water -none. But I stayed one night only and the staff were helpful. Pool was lovely "

"My only complaint is we couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone ie front desk, etc. The staff that was there were awesome. "

"The hotel was clean and marginally well maintained. We were given a room where the electronic door lock did not work. This was a known issue, but the room was still rented. The staff gave us a different room that was OK. The breakfast was disappointing. Both days the bins were empty initially and later filled. Though yogurt and fruit were advertised, neither were available. The room was very clean and the staff mostly very friendly and helpful."

"The hotel was nice. My room was just like any other hotel room but I could see flaws here & there nothing big. The place is so big it seemed to take forever to get from the parking garage to my room. I did not realize that they charge you $25 per day ($10 credit for food & drinks, & $15 for laundry), who would use $15/day for laundry?? I also had to pay $50 per day for parking!! Why don't they put the $15 laundry credit toward parking? That would make it much better at least for me. I went for a conference & saw family some of the evenings so I didn't have a chance to check out the pool or all the amenities. It was really close to a lot of places like the Riverwalk, river cruise, the mall was very close."

"The hotel was clean and quiet. Lloyd on the front desk was fantastic. Very polite and professional. He arranged extra amenities in the room. When asked for directions he was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations of where to visit. Fairly cheap considering the hotel is only one block from Bourbon street! The breakfast was good. Either full continental or a la carte eggs. The only criticism I have is that I wish they would use local coffee houses for the coffee, rather than Starbucks. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend friends and family!"

"The hotel is a gem in the middle of the French Quarter. It has a combination of classic elegance and modern conveniences that hit you as soon as you walk in. The rooms are very modern with all types of lifting controls including motion sensors under the bed that turn on soft lights if you get up in the middle of the night. The staff was friendly and ultra professional. It was a high class vibe in walking distance to most sights."
