The location was pretty good if you wanted to get around town with lots of music to see at night right on French Street. However, the door on the room was hard to get to lock upon leaving the room. The walls are very thin and if you are situated by the lobby, you can hear many of the other folks coming and going. Right next door to hot new Caribbean restaurant where you can get a delicious meal and keep leftovers in the fridge to snack on after hours of drinking and dancing on Frenchmen street. Perfect evening. The hotel is cute, comfy and well kept. The front attendant desk was always there 24/7 and super friendly and helpful. I stayed there a whole week and I really can’t say enough great things about the property and service. If there is any down sides it’s that the hot tub was pretty chilly and it can get loud outside, it’s a busy happening nightlife area so it’s out of their control but they did a great job of mitigating the noise with noise machines in the room and ear plugs if needed. My room was right off the street and I didn’t lose any sleep. Property was safe and secure and I’ll never stay anywhere else. The room was clean and the staff at the front desk were great! Also, whoever was answering my texts were also very helpful. We stayed in a queen suite room, highly recommend. The pool and hot tub area was quaint, perfect for the whole setting / ambience /vibe of the Kasa and New Orleans. There was a rooftop bar area which was closed, but honestly, there are enough bars around the area, that we didn't need another one, lol. Great place, and thanks again for everything. Small room, as expected. Nice pool to enjoy. All dtaff were very friendly and helpful. The areas around the hotel weren't great for my daughter because of drug use and homeless. I stayed here one for a wedding and since then I don’t look anywhere else for a room if the Frenchmen is available. There’s not much to the place except nice old rooms at a great location. The rooms can feel a bit bare and some fixtures are old but that’s part of the charm for us. Excellent pool and hot tub. We travel to New Orleans multiple times a year and typically stay in the Quarter, but we really enjoyed staying just outside of the Quarter on Frenchmen St. and taking on everything this area had to offer while also still being a short walk away from the Quarter. The rooms were the most spacious I have encountered of anywhere I’ve stayed (including a very spacious bathroom as well) and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We also loved the on-site bar (the bartender was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the area and recommendations) and the pool, hot tub and courtyard were great!
