Staff were friendly at all times, whether front desk staff, restaurant servers, bartenders, or cleaners. It was slightly strange to have to request room service but I guess this was one way in which they could use less resources that could be harmful to the environment since we didn't need room service everyday. However, making the request was easy, done verbally to the front desk staff in literally 2 seconds. The room was always well-cleaned. However, no recycling was offered at this property. Shampoo, liquid soap, and body lotion were in large bottles bolted to the wall so less waste compared to all the small bottles used at other hotels. All smelled really nice.
The room was nicely appointed with wall art, comfortable bed and other furniture, the shower had good water pressure, I could regulate the temperature easily, and no problem getting warm water.
My only complaint is that they messed up my room booking so we ended up in a windowless room with a queen-sized bed after I had booked a room with a king-sized bed. They offered to switch me after the weekend was over but it would have been a hassle to have to move rooms by then. They also offered a free breakfast and drink tickets as apologies. I would have preferred the better room but these were appreciated nonetheless. I would stay at this property again.
