"Hotel Monteleone - Perfect Location"
We stayed at the Monteleone in May 2016. The Hotel is ideally located for Bourbon Street, as well as the other tourist attractions. Despite being only one block away, you could not hear any of the nightly noise from Bourbon Street. The staff were excellent - friendly, polite, efficient, and professional. We had breakfast in the hotel on 2 mornings out of our 3 night stay. The food was very good - great choice, great quality, good portions, well presented, very tasty. Our waitress, Lucille, was wonderful - she couldn't do enough for us. And she remembered all of our names the next morning. The rooftop pool and bar was a nice little bonus - a nice place to escape to after a long day out. We were fortunate with the weather, which made the pool so much easier to enjoy.

Le Richelieu in the French Quarter

1234 Chartres St, New Orleans - Map
"good hotel in french quarter"
The staff at this hotel made the stay wonderful. They were accommodating when we need to store our luggage before and after our cruise before we even checked in. Lourdes was very helpful in all of her recommendations and took more than a fair share of time showing us on the map where and what to do. The room was big enough for both myself and my daughter but the room temperature couldn't be controlled in the room so it was a little colder than we liked it. The housekeeping staff start very early so since rooms are close together we were disturbed by knocking and vacuuming at very early morning. Overall it was a great place to stay and I would stay there again if I were to come back to NOLA..

Hotel St. Helene - New Orleans Hotels

Hotel St. Helene

508 Rue Chartres, New Orleans - Map
"Convenient location"
This hotel was a no-frills spot chosen for location rather than comfort. Originally I was in a street-facing room which was incredibly loud. Drunks until 2 am followed by 6 am garbage trucks and deliveries. I moved to a different room which was Roomy, nice balcony, but the bed was very uncomfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very cute spot and convenient to French Quarter, Frenchman Street, and the streetcars

Inn on St. Peter

1005 Saint Peter St, New Orleans - Map
"Overall, very pleasing."
When checked in we had some difficulty getting to the door because the street was closed due to construction, but the clerk waited for at the door, and even helped get the baggage up to the room. I had some difficulty getting to the room as I walk with cane and my ambulation skills are not that good. First in the morning they had a downstairs room waiting for us. All was good. I thought the rates were a little too high for what they offered, but room was very comfortable.

"French Quarter splender."
Very nice hotel smack in the middle of the French quarter. Close to everything and quiet. The pool, bar and work out room are on the roof and it was nice to rest in the sun and swim on the hot days, very relaxing.

Very good location, but rather noisy. You can hear the people in the room next door to you and everything the house keepers are doing. Perfect if you just want a bed and spend the whole time exploring! Staff were very friendly and helpful
