"Good Value and Location"
We were very pleased with out selection of the Hotel Provincial. Located in the French Quarter, just far enough away from the noise of Bourbon Street, the hotel is within easy walking distance of all the attractions within the French Quarter and the Riverfront area. The rooms were clean and the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. There is an excellent restaurant next door and a quaint bar in the lobby.

"Quiet clean hotel in the heart of the quarter"
This was such a great place to stay. Friendly staff, downstairs bar with nightly jazz acts, taxi stand, on-site food, desk concierge, clean room, proximity to attractions, saltwater pool - all in all, a great place to stay in the French Quarter! Close to all the action but the staff and guests keep it a good place to escape from some of the madness. Only comment is that the air conditioning kept the room cool at night but sometimes could not keep up during the day. The room with 2 beds had plenty of closet, room and bathroom space. Can't say enough about the friendly staff and the great service they provided.

Conveniently located in the heart of the French Quarter. The employees are so friendly and always greet you with a smile. Hotel is very quiet and the rooms are very clean. Fabulous breakfast in the courtyard in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

It's a very old place with a lot of character situated in a quiet neighborhood area. Its outside of the CBD and French Qtr madness. No restaurant or bar on site but it's around the corner from Frenchman's St. that has both. Could use a little bit of a touch up but overall a good choice if you want the old New Orleans vibe a little off the beaten path. Not my first choice but I would go back if one of my "go to" places wasn't available.

"Charming Hotel, Great Location."
Great location. Hotel is charming and clean. The walls are paper thin as its an old building, but nicely remodeled. The beds were very comfortable, and A/C worked great. I would stay here again.

"Great Quaint Inn in the Quarter"
Awesome location. Conveniently close to all the main attractions, but still far enough away to be able to leave the French Quarter with zero hassle. Several really good eating locales within walking distance. Great customer service from all the hotel staff we encountered. Always accommodating to special requests and the sort.

"Perfect hotel when you stay in the French Quarter"
This was my second stay here at the hotel and I'm glad I choose to come back. The first time was a girls weekend and this time was a couples get away. The room was need and spacious for two couples to share with a courtyard balcony. Aaron at the front desk was so helpful and wonderful. He even made sure to say goodbye to us since he was off on the day we checked out. I will book there again for our next trip to New Orleans.

"Perfect location for French Quarter"
Very friendly staff. Room quiet in a beautiful garden setting away from the street noise but needed upkeep...air conditioner literally falling apart and struggled to keep room cool. Hot water sporadic in shower.

"The jewel of the French quarter "
We stayed here for 3 nights whilst on a road trip. This gem is old but that's what makes it. The rooms are small & we asked for an upgrade on our last night which the staff were happy to oblige and moved us to a bigger room. The staff were fantastic, nothing was any trouble for them. As for location, it's in a fantastic area, just 1 block away from bourbon street which we found a bit tacky but you're also 5 minutes walk away from frenchman street which is where the real jazz clubs and great eateries are.
