We were initially concerned about the proximity to Bourbon street and feared it would be loud… but the property has a beautiful courtyard with a water fountain. We never heard anything and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff at front desk and concierge were above and beyond friendly, attentive and knowledgeable! Great place to stay!!

Our first time to New Orleans French Quarter. We were a little nervous on how the hotel would be for cleanliness but when we went in our room, we were very happy. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. We would certainly recommend Hotel Mazarin to friends.

Fundamentally, I shouldn't have booked so close to Bourbon Street. It is actually on, not really a full block off. However, the hotel itself is in dire need of an update. The Concierge is in a dirty corner covered in wires and was conducting an interview for another job opportunity in the middle of an area full of guests. I don't blame her - but that summed up the stay, Room was covered in long standing dust, but the bed, linens and bathroom were clean. I can see the remnants of a lovely hotel that has much faded.
