"When we arrived at Hotel Canoe, we were able to check in early since our room was ready, which was a great start. The front desk staff were friendly and provided clear instructions on parking, room access, amenities, and the tunnel connecting all three buildings.
The building itself is beautiful, with a clean lobby, great views, and a rooftop hot tub. Each day, guests can order tea or coffee to take to their room, which comes with milk/creamer and sugar in a cloth bag. Unfortunately, not knowing this on the first day, I ended up spilling creamer on some of my belongings.
The room looked nice at first, but we noticed some issues. The bedsheets had small tears, and the bench and couch had noticeable stains. The bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable, making for a poor night’s sleep. However, the rest of the room was clean, with fresh towels, toiletries, and beautiful mountain views.
The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the main strip, so nearby food options are limited. They do provide bus day passes, which is a nice touch, though we chose to walk.
We enjoyed the rooftop hot tub, which had clean towels, change rooms, and lockers, but bring your own sandals.
Overall, an enjoyable stay, but we likely wouldn’t return."
