The property makes it very convenient to access Banff village. We stayed in an outside wing of the hotel which made getting to the pool and other amenities difficult. Our area of the hotel was a bit dingy.

Excellent location for enjoying the town of Banff. The rooms they gave us in this paradise(317 & 319) were both facing solid walls! Horrible. Why even bother having balconies. And we booked 6 months earlier! They said they felt bad but did nothing. Also, the parking is NOT included for guests, it's another $15CA per day. Pool and hot tubs were nice, gym was sparse, staff pleasant. So good and bad and fair. Thank god we had Banff to enjoy.

The ac unit is very old from 1950 it's working but not cooling what so ever was just a fan. We had to open the balcony door so the room got colder, the rooms they were not updated.

We got the corner room with mountain view and it didn't disappoint. This view made up for any shortcomings to the hotel and room. The section of the hotel we were put in required us to exit and enter in a separate part of the hotel due to construction. It felt that we were staying in an apartment rather than the hotel. The room itself was dated and in need of a renovation. The buffet breakfast at the Crave restaurant on site was very good and I would recommended. The pool and sauna looked inviting - we never use it - and it seemed to be empty every time we passed. There is a fitness nook enough for one person with weights; but, that's it - no electronic machines. I would have like to use a treadmill during my stay. Overall, the location/proximity to town and restaurants mountainview of the Cascase side made this experience memorable. Staff and service was great! Thanks!
