    "Old world Charm and Service"
Went for the wives birthday, our first night out in over a year since having a baby. Staff was amazing! Customer service is their specialty. Pulled in and was immediately greeted at the curb by staff to take our luggage and valet park our vehicle. Got inside and were pleasantly surprised with and upgrade to a suite. This hotel is pure class and sophistication from top to bottom. Being over 100 years old, it is a classic and timeless example of old world hospitality and class. Had a cocktail in the Oak room that night and listened to beautiful renditions of modern tunes played on a piano. Breakfast at the Rimrock was fantastic the following morning, can't go wrong with the 9th ave omlette.

Rooms were clean but a little small. A continental breakfast would be nice as there aren't many cheaper breakfast restaurants in the area. Starbucks hours aren't open early or late enough. Otherwise a nice stay. Staff was great!

Hotel nice and clean. Very fancy lobby area. Could hear kids racing up and down halls outside of door. Not close to good restaurants. Walked to pizza place down block but didn't feel safe. Homeless people and druggies were hanging around. Did not like having to PAY for parking at $16 per night!

"Extremely quiet centrally located hotel "
The design of this hotel- rooms centered around a shopping mall- is ideal, as it offers (1) a central location with easy access to shopping and restaurants and (2) a very quiet atmosphere post 7 pm. The hotel offered me a free upgrade to a suite. The decor is older, but is nice and 80s classy, generally in good shape, and a refreshing change from ultra modern hotels. Good water pressure and hot water. The staff are excellent. They are extremely friendly, attentive, and professional, and responded very well to my random requests, such as for toothpaste, a new room key, or for recommendations on what to do in the area on a Friday night.
