Very comfy bed, good shower, room was above average in size, good breakfast. Staff were pleasant and I was given a free transfer to the main building. Their dinner options were good, though very expensive. I decided to have a meal elsewhere.

Four adults and two kids! The two bedroom suite is remodeled and really clean and comfy. The sofa bed is just AWESOME, not like the uncomfortable yucky sofa beds I’ve seen in other hotels. Doesn’t have AC though, but bearable after it cools down. Definitely recommend for big families.

We only stayed at the Lake Louise Inn for one night while visiting Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. We chose this property because the Fairview Limousine Company leaves from this location which we took to Moraine lake, and the public Roam bus to Lake Louise leaves from across the street (current the cost is $2.00 each way and NO reservations were needed though it only runs until 4pm). This is a LARGE property, this meant plenty of free parking. We stayed in a building away from the main building so there was no elevator, which meant carrying luggage up to the second floor. As this is an eco-friendly property it does not have AC- as it was unusually hot we slept with a window open, so we were awoken as soon as families walked by to start their morning. Of note there was no minifridge our room. The shining spot of this facility was the restaurant. The service was slow but we were not rushed and the food was excellent. The front desk staff is also very friendly, helpful and well trained.

The Lake Louise In had 2 onsite restaurants which was convenient. Timberwolf served delicious pizza and the Legends Restaurant was okay. If you try to book a room online and it says full or you ask the hotel staff and they say the same thing, try looking online. If I hadn’t tried to book a room on my own using Expedia I would have never found an available room. The Lake Louise Inn front desk staff told me they aren’t allowed to disclose that there are actually rooms available because Expedia actually purchased them. Lesson learned!

No AC unit in room and the table fan barely pushed any air around. Room definitely needs an upgrade. Otherwise it was clean. There isn’t any refrigerator in the room nor microwave. I guess you can request these things. The building we stayed in which was number 4 has no elevators and we were on the third floor. Help was also offered for suitcases.

The room was very small, and the staff were slow (especially to return mini golf equipment). Food was excellent, despite having to wait much longer than their estimates. The pool was great, but the hot tubs limit of 3 people was annoying for a family of 4. They did bring us a microwave, but it was surprising it wasn't standard in the first place.

The property is older but overall it is a nice place and location. Similar to some other recent reviews, it wasn’t apparent there is no air conditioning and our “deluxe” queen room that we booked showed pictures with Mountain View’s. Instead we got interior 3rd floor room and it was 80-83 degrees in our room and our family was miserable. Thankfully the manager let us check out the next morning and we moved places the next 2 nights from our original 3 night reservation. It’s probably only an issue a few weeks a year but it wasn’t pleasant. Without that I’d rate much higher. The staff was great and restaurant we ate at was pretty good. Rooms are very small but doable.

The property was in excellent condition. The room was excellent. The price was reasonable for the area and time of year. The restaurants were good, not great. First come first served so be prepared to wait if its busy. There is a shuttle service from in front of the lobby up to the lakes, book ahead to be sure. Would definitely recommend.

staff were nice and they were able to accomodate us for an early check in. there’s also accessible restaurants near the area. unfortunately, majority of our experience was unpleasant mainly bec there was NO AIRCONDITIONING. this is my 1st time in banff area and wasnt aware that there are hotels with no AC. I wasnt able to check as I’ve never booked a hotel without an AC before. the 1st night was quite miserable since we only have 1 faulty fan, so we woke up early in the morning to open our door just so the cold morning air can come inside. 2nd night we have to open the windows a bit and requested for an extra fan just to be more comfortable. definitely wouldn't recommend especially during the summer. rooms are also tight, barely enough room to open our luggage and also dated. no elevators and ramp for luggages as well.. overall, not worth the price

The worst stay! No air conditioning, ice machine broken, and no elevator. Could not sleep for how hot our room was. Has not been update since the 1970’s and we had mold in our bathroom and smelly carpet. This motel was the most expensive stay and also our worst stay! The photos are VERY misleading on their advertisements. So sad we paid so much for so little! I will post photos on Google review.
