This has always been my go to hotel for the area. We recently had to stay there for 4 nights and with all the covid 19 closures we were able to stay. We have a room off by ourselves. Buy the staff was pleasant and as helpful as they could be in these trying time! I would recommend this hotel hands ...

We arrived around 12:45 am. The person at the front desk was very welcoming and he even gave us a bigger rooms than we had originally booked (due to the fact we were staying for 5 days and probably also due to the fact the hotel was not too busy). Good location in the heart of downtown Halifax.
Staff was great, very old and outdated inside. Old can be nice, but should be slightly updated with old look. Overall happy experience though, just some slight upgrades could improve to perfect. Keep old charm without looking like its from the 90’s

Although construction was happening next door which had loud jack hammering, I was able to change rooms with ease from help at the desk.
