While Copperstone Resort might not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Wind Ridge Trail and Bow Valley Wildland Provincial Park.

This is cozy, modest, vintage, clean, fun, etc. etc. Really I can't imagine a more perfect place to stay at in the mountains. The wood fireplace with access to wood was lovely. Not much to say about Dead Mans Flats, its a small hamlet so there really isnt much to see or do. Its a quick drive into Canmore though and we were able to take a taxi there and back. Gorgeous view of the mountains all around, quiet, locals are nice.
Dead man flats has nothing there. This hotel was definitely a gem though.
They double changed us, as there check in desk was only available so late I couldn't be there, and the staff didn't speak enough English to understand that my gf was checking in for us. She ended up having to pay for the room a second time.
Nice, quiet place with less tourists
Parking lot is big, beautiful view around the building.
