    Prince Edward Island Hotel Guide

Prince Edward Island is a huge, sprawling island in northern Canada, but that does not keep it from being a place of seclusion and escape. When you stay at Prince Edward Island hotels, you really get to get away from it all. Whether you want to walk along the golden beaches, hike in the seemingly endless forests, or swim in brisk coastal waters, you will be far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This is why people keep coming back to hotels in Prince Edward Island year after year.

If you are looking for beaches, the best place to start is with cheap hotel deals in Prince Edward Island near Bothwell Beach or Basin Head Beach. You can hear the world-famous Singing Sands on either one, and you can walk along a pristine coastline from one beach to the next, relaxing and watching the waves come in. These beaches are popular, but they are so vast that you will have plenty of space for you and your children to play rousing games of Frisbee, eat a picnic lunch, or swim in the surf. There are Prince Edward Island hotel deals that put you within a few minutes of the beach.

Are you looking for Prince Edward Island hotel packages that will put you in close proximity to events and festivals? Why not try out the Highland Gathering, which is put on by the College of Piping, or go to the Jazz and Blues Festival for classic music for dancing on a warm summer evening. You can also find live entertainment at the Victoria Playhouse, the Montgomery Theatre, the Charlottetown Festival, and the Kings Playhouse. Check the schedule before you arrive to see what fantastic shows will be playing.

To really see Prince Edward Island in its full glory, take a chartered flight from the local airport; you can pick a cheap Prince Edward Island hotel deal near the airport to cut down on transportation. The flight is one of the best excursions that you can take because you will see the scattered lighthouses, the spinning windmills, and the other top attractions from a new perspective. Book a tour after you find your rooms at special discount rates, and you will have a trip to Prince Edward Island that you will remember for the rest of your life.

    "Great downtown location"
Very nice hotel, a bit tired but it looks like renovations are on the way. Great downtown but quiet location. Unfortunately could hear through the walls on both sides...sports news blasting until 4:30 a.m. Was a bit much. Initial reception when inquiring about possibly checking in early, was not good. First I was ignored as the woman typed on her computer, then answered the phone. Finally looked up to acknowledge me. I explained my concern that we get a suitable room as we had a dog ( I had confirmed this months ago), her answer was that dogs were not allowed alone in the room. Not what I asked but interesting to note her attitude. When we were later allowed to check in, the young man was fine enough. But generally, not an overly friendly bunch. Expensive too.
