It was almost like a Bed & Breakfast. The owner was very nice and friendly. The property around the house was beautiful and had a beautiful view of the ocean. In the morning she prepared a delicious breakfast of scones, blueberry pancakes, OJ, and coffee. Marvin (welcome committee cat) comfortable rooms with AC, fridge, comfy bed, nice clean rooms and showers, gardens to explore, outside seating with propane fire table. And the food is Gourmet delicious! The Chefs should have a Michelin star. The scallops and vegetables, scones/bread, lemon meringue pie - the best we’ve ever had! It’s family owned and had a nice welcoming feel to it. Mary was so helpful and nice. The room was very nice and comfortable, the property is beautiful, right on the water, and the main part of the inn is cozy. It was a little rainy but we put on our rain gear and explored the grounds. Not only are the grounds beautiful but there are places to sit, to play games, and just relax. Mary was absolutely wonderful and made us feel right at home . We had dinner that was delicious . It was a three course , homemade meal with homemade bread and dessert . The breakfast was divine with homemade scones and blueberry pancakes and eggs . The rooms were clean and quant . We were able to walk down to the beach and enjoy the ocean . They even had a little gazebo and private beach . We had a chalet which included a sitting area (with sofa, arm chair and gas fireplace) and kitchenette. The sleeping area was furnished with a four-poster bed and jacuzzi. Bathroom was modern, pristinely clean. Breakfast was available at an extra charge that was well worth it. Only downside was the fact that dinner is only served 4 days a week. That said, the innkeepers mage helpful recommendations for nearby places.
