The AC smelled had a very strong mold smell coming out of it so we couldn’t keep that on, there were also quite a few bugs in the room. The staff was super friendly but probably wouldn’t stay here in the future

Property is very dated and is in desperate need of a facelift. The rooms have very thin walls and you can hear everything. The staff were very professional and clearly well trained.

The room was dirty. I had to clean the shower before using it in the morning. The facecloth was black when I was finished. Shower faucet broken too. 2 shampoo bottles and one conditioner in the shower but no body wash. The pillows were musty smelling. The check in was rushed. Not all information given to me about breakfast, internet, facilities etc. There was no lineup for checkin.

The only thing i would say is that when our room was cleaned the sheets werent changed. I can understand that as we were only there 3 nights. But also the floors weren't swept at all and really needed to be as we had a small dog, so there was some dog hair and dirt. We had a paper bag of garbage, take out containers etc. that were left in the room, even though i placed them by the door so as not to be missed. Also, they advertise having two pools indoor AND outdoor. We were disappointed upon arrival to find out there was no outdoor pool.

This hotel in Truro stood out as such a gem on our recent vacation to Nova Scotia. It is impeccably clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms and pool/hot tub are lovely. Very family friendly. Breakfast had a nice egg bar with made-to-order omelets, or eggs how you like, in addition to hot items and continental fare. Ample parking, location near parks and a great pizza/donair shop. Highly recommend.

The lobby was well appointed and the check in was fast. When we got to our room, we noticed ants on the desk and bureau areas. We reported it and our room was changed. The room we were moved to had no ants but the rug was wet and the floors sticky like they hadn't been rinsed very well. We just kept the room as we were tired from travelling. The best part about this BW was the breakfast where eggs were being cooked to order.
