One of our favourite places to stay in Banff. Love the wood burning fireplace. The heated floors are everything when it’s cold outside :)

I loved my stay at the Buffalo Mountain Lodge! The area was beautiful of course and it was a short 5 minute drive to Downtown Banff! Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains. Only thing is I wish the room had more lighting and that there was a long body mirror. I also wish the room was dusted a little before we arrived, but all in all the stay was nice. The area is so quiet and nothing beats a trip to Banff!

Our room was lovely, and we loved the fireplace. Only problem we had was it got quite smokey in the room and fire alarm went off a few times (even though we had the flue wide open). Although the location is about a km away from downtown, there is a covenient bus stop very close to the property. We did not try the restaurant (menu looked really good) as it didn't seem very intimate. It is very open and doesn't look like a fine dining place, although the menu would suggest otherwise. I would definitely stay here again, and hopefully will make use of the outdoor hot tub, which looked beautiful.

Very inconvenient access to downtown Banff. Bus service is available if you want to mess around with public transit. A hotel shuttle would be MUCH better. Check in and check out was quick but rooms were accessible with metal keys only and $25 to replace if lost. Crazy. Our rooms were accessible by dragging our luggage through 3 parking lots and up several flights of stairs. The shower leaked like crazy but aside from that rooms were nice overall. Restaurant/ bar area looked nice but i never saw a patron there. Ever.

My dad and I had a lovely stay here! The rooms were spacious, warm and inviting! The staff was very nice and the hot tub was much needed after all the skiing we did :) The reason I leave this review is because of the Restaurant on the property.. IT WAS AMAZING! Everything we ate was delicious and they had 0 issues accommodating my dairy allergy. I'm someone who loves to treat myself with lattes on vacation and the coffee on the property made my heart sing. We spent our days skiing and Buffalo Mountain Lodge was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day! Thank you!
