    Europe Hotel Guide

A European tour is something many travellers only dream of. The opportunity to explore the continent might start at the outer borders of Russia and stretch to the seashores of the Mediterranean Sea in Spain. The possibilities are endless, and it is a coveted journey that can change your outlook on life. The history of the countries within Europe’s boundaries has created a massive wealth of saddening, but useful interest points. The people of this continent have proven that triumph trumps tragedy every time.

Russia was once ruled by a czar under a communist backdrop. Politics have been drastically uprooted in the European countries, and a democratic position has replaced it. This change has made Russia easier to access for tourists who want to get a glimpse of the myths and legends that made the country so notoriously intriguing. Fantasizing about becoming a Russian spy might be a fun adventure while touring the beautiful cities of Russia. Though it is not likely that you will be asked to join the KGB while investigating the historical remnants.

Italy and Greece bring a hint of old romance to mind. These countries are filled to the brim with ancient historical buildings and monuments that take you back in time. Both countries are surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. You will feel romance come alive while standing on a rolling hilltop overlooking the sea as a cool breeze blows through your hair. Wineries are famous in the region, and you might find yourself stomping grapes with the locals.

A European tour is not complete without a stopover in legendary France. This country is rich in the arts and is the home of the famed Eiffel Tower. There are nearly 1,300 museums in France, with the the Louvre being the most famous. That is where you can view the renowned Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. Many of the locals speak dual languages in order to communicate with the thousands of visitors to the area every year. Wise holiday travellers reciprocate by learning the basics of the French language.

Adventures on a European tour range from glorious mountainside retreats to 5-star restaurant fares. The bedazzling cities will entrance you as you gaze across from the tops of a Swiss mountain. Skiing in Switzerland or relaxing in Denmark is a perfect way to end a breathtaking continental tour that will leave you wishing for just one more day.

Très bon séjour en famille avec 2 enfants enchantés. Coût assez élevé pour le resto. Navettes pour Disneyland géniales et très pratiques. Chambre propre et confortable. Piscine sympa malgré des casiers bloqués et le manque de cabines.

"Surprised by how good it was! More like 4 star."
I was surprised how good the Explorer Hotel was - we were a little worried by some of the reviews. Our son has many complex food allergies which the staff were all aware of and they provide separate food for him at dinner time - not rubbish allergy food but proper salmon, chicken or cod with vegetables and rice or potatoes - and large portions. A special thanks to Patrick Pichon who took our long list of food allergies and found out what we could and couldn't eat for breakfast and dinner, he also greeted us on arrival and made sure Fabien ( dinner manager who was also fabulous) and Gael (the breakfast manager) knew who we were and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. They also provided us with a fridge in our room 5 mins after arrival because we had to carry special milk and margarine. The room was great and our 3 year old loved the bunk beds - we were ment to have a 4 bed Crew room but they left the door open to the adjoining room which had another bunk bed in it and another flat screen tv. The room was decorated like a pirate ship :) . The shower was great - even though on of the kids had pulled the metal casing off the tube - plenty of hot water and high pressure. The tv was great once you worked out how to use it - they had Cbeebies in English - although it didn't get much use it was good to distract the little one while we fed him a snack. The whole hotel is themed for little ones with a dragon in the foyer, 3 pirates ships one in the heated pool.

"Ideal for the Metro and Termini station"
Was very easy to find the hotel, only about 3 or 4 mins walk from Termini Station. Easy to check in, staff all spoke a good standard of English. Plenty of bars, restaraunts and souvenir shops in immediate vicinity if you don't want to wander far in the evenings - but walking about and using the metro after dark seemed perfectly safe. Once you get used to the fact that most of the City's attracations aren't very well signposted, you realise that they are easy enough to find as long as you know which metro stop to get off at !
