    Europe Hotel Guide

A European tour is something many travellers only dream of. The opportunity to explore the continent might start at the outer borders of Russia and stretch to the seashores of the Mediterranean Sea in Spain. The possibilities are endless, and it is a coveted journey that can change your outlook on life. The history of the countries within Europe’s boundaries has created a massive wealth of saddening, but useful interest points. The people of this continent have proven that triumph trumps tragedy every time.

Russia was once ruled by a czar under a communist backdrop. Politics have been drastically uprooted in the European countries, and a democratic position has replaced it. This change has made Russia easier to access for tourists who want to get a glimpse of the myths and legends that made the country so notoriously intriguing. Fantasizing about becoming a Russian spy might be a fun adventure while touring the beautiful cities of Russia. Though it is not likely that you will be asked to join the KGB while investigating the historical remnants.

Italy and Greece bring a hint of old romance to mind. These countries are filled to the brim with ancient historical buildings and monuments that take you back in time. Both countries are surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. You will feel romance come alive while standing on a rolling hilltop overlooking the sea as a cool breeze blows through your hair. Wineries are famous in the region, and you might find yourself stomping grapes with the locals.

A European tour is not complete without a stopover in legendary France. This country is rich in the arts and is the home of the famed Eiffel Tower. There are nearly 1,300 museums in France, with the the Louvre being the most famous. That is where you can view the renowned Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. Many of the locals speak dual languages in order to communicate with the thousands of visitors to the area every year. Wise holiday travellers reciprocate by learning the basics of the French language.

Adventures on a European tour range from glorious mountainside retreats to 5-star restaurant fares. The bedazzling cities will entrance you as you gaze across from the tops of a Swiss mountain. Skiing in Switzerland or relaxing in Denmark is a perfect way to end a breathtaking continental tour that will leave you wishing for just one more day.

    "Extremely good 3 night stay"
After reading done reviews about smallness of rooms and noisy night times I was little unsure of what to expect. Staff on check in were extremely polite and helpful - I had booked the Queen sized room and was given a room on the 3rd floor. I use a walking stick so was very grateful the lifts were relatively quick to arrive and smooth. On the 3rd floor there are a huge amount of rooms and did find it a bit confusing to find my room at first, bu a member of staff I spotted down one of the many corridors was extremely patient and polite in explaining where I went wrong and after describing the correct route was kind enough to check I reached the right area. The room was very clean thro-out, shelves in wardrobe and safe box for free use. The tv was good quality with ample stations to choose from including quite a few stations from foreign countries. Many nice touches like free bottles of water, full tea/coffee/biscuit utilities, light switches close to bed and good supply of soaps/shampoo etc. One slight off putting thing was the standard curtain type shower in the bath which I found a little too enclosed, but that was the ONLY slightly negative point. The bed was comfortable. Love the fact that all the windows had wooden sliding shutters which helped keep out the light and noise, which, OK was a tad noisy with open window, but it's a high tourist spot in London and no worse than I expected. Will definately stay again.

    "Comfortable airport hotel"
We like to stay at the terminal the night before our holiday. It enables me to leave work later than usual and finish all those little jobs that never seem to get done. Then we can relax over a nice meal not having to worry about going to the airport in the morning We were upgraded to a superior room on arrival, a perfect start to our holiday. We were given a free drink in the bar before dinner. We ate in the fabulous Oriental restaurant, menu is a fusion of Asian dishes, from crispy duck to Rendung or Thai curry. Wonderful service we were the last to leave.

Arrived at the hotel Thursday and stayed until Sunday. The staff were very welcoming. My Daughter is only 2 and has milk on a regular basis. There were no shops around and they allowed me to help myself at breakfast which was very considerate. The room was cosy and clean and had the essentials that we needed.

    "Superb hotel in central location"
Second stay at UNA hotel Rome was every bit as good as first visit. We booked a 'superior' room and were able to upgrade to one with a terrace for a modest supplement - terrace was great to sit out on the warm evenings and enjoy a glass of wine..or two! The room was a good size (considering the terrace takes up quite an area) and very modern decor with lots of high-tech controls for lights, air-con etc., plus the usual flat screen TV, mini-bar, safe etc. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Bathroom had huge powerful shower which was very welcome after a day's exploring - in fact everything was of a very high quality. All of the hotel staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and the breakfast buffet to die for with a superb choice of fresh hot and cold goodies - it certainly set us up for the day's sightseeing. We dined in the hotel one evening from one of the 'specials' menus which consisted of 4 courses with glass of wine, coffee and petit fours included. All dishes were excellent quality with a 5-star presentation befitting a top class gourmet restaurant - and all for less than 40euros each ! There is a small, cosy bar in the hotel but we didn't use it so can't comment. I would certainly recommend the UNA hotel and would definitely stay there again. It ticks all the boxes for a city break or longer stay.
