    Europe Hotel Guide

A European tour is something many travellers only dream of. The opportunity to explore the continent might start at the outer borders of Russia and stretch to the seashores of the Mediterranean Sea in Spain. The possibilities are endless, and it is a coveted journey that can change your outlook on life. The history of the countries within Europe’s boundaries has created a massive wealth of saddening, but useful interest points. The people of this continent have proven that triumph trumps tragedy every time.

Russia was once ruled by a czar under a communist backdrop. Politics have been drastically uprooted in the European countries, and a democratic position has replaced it. This change has made Russia easier to access for tourists who want to get a glimpse of the myths and legends that made the country so notoriously intriguing. Fantasizing about becoming a Russian spy might be a fun adventure while touring the beautiful cities of Russia. Though it is not likely that you will be asked to join the KGB while investigating the historical remnants.

Italy and Greece bring a hint of old romance to mind. These countries are filled to the brim with ancient historical buildings and monuments that take you back in time. Both countries are surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. You will feel romance come alive while standing on a rolling hilltop overlooking the sea as a cool breeze blows through your hair. Wineries are famous in the region, and you might find yourself stomping grapes with the locals.

A European tour is not complete without a stopover in legendary France. This country is rich in the arts and is the home of the famed Eiffel Tower. There are nearly 1,300 museums in France, with the the Louvre being the most famous. That is where you can view the renowned Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. Many of the locals speak dual languages in order to communicate with the thousands of visitors to the area every year. Wise holiday travellers reciprocate by learning the basics of the French language.

Adventures on a European tour range from glorious mountainside retreats to 5-star restaurant fares. The bedazzling cities will entrance you as you gaze across from the tops of a Swiss mountain. Skiing in Switzerland or relaxing in Denmark is a perfect way to end a breathtaking continental tour that will leave you wishing for just one more day.

"Good hotel with easy access to Heathrow and tube."
We stayed here one night between arriving at and leaving from Heathrow. The main attraction was that, as well as having easy and relatively quick access to Heathrow it is only a few minutes walk from the Hatton Cross tube station so you can explore some of London (e.g. Kew Gardens) if you have a spare day. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were good.

    "short trip to rome"
my husband and i stayed at the metropole in june. it is convenient for the train station which was why we chose it. it is close enough to the centre for everything to be walkable but there is plenty of available transport if needed. the staff were friendly. the hotel was clean and comfortable. a breakfast buffet is available and there is a good selection of hot and cold food. it caters for all tastes, I'm sure everyone could find something that they like to eat. we were in rome for 4 days and saw most things of interest, at least all that we wanted to see. please be aware that at present the trevi fountain in under renovation so there's not much to see. we took the tours available to buy on the street for the colosseum and the vatican and can recommend people to do some visits that way. you learn more history and the guides were very good.

"Excellent service located near termini station and"
Our checkin was so easy the staff so helpful and friendly. He offered a discounted suite that included free bar in our room, huge balcony overlooking the city, and wonderful breakfast buffet for $35! Very good bargain considering Rome is so expensive. Room was large and show was awesome with rainfall shower! Staff suggested different ways to get to airport and then called immediately to get a cab for us. As this was only for a night before flying back home it was great deal.

    "Nice pool, Nice rooms."
Spent 7 nights which I slept soundly every night in a relatively comfortable bed. Pool was excellent which my 9 yr old loved, plenty of room around pool which wasn't too busy. The food prices and drinks were a bit pricey which was in line with the rest of Rome. Could of done with some background music at the bar. Breakfast was good also catered for everyone. All in all a good week.
