“Book it now!!!”
Nice hotel with brand new large room. Comfortable furniture and high speed (yes, I mean it) free Internet!!! The Grand is a perfect vacation base. Walk! You are in London center. Grocery store is on the corner as well as buses and train. Surrounded by 5 stars fancy hotels The Grand was just right for my budget.
“The Grand at Trafalgar Square Londres - tres bien situé et calme”

“The Grand is Grand!”
Have stayed here before and will stay here again. Great location, great value. Currently, they are renovating the dining and lounge areas, so it's a bit dusty and noisy. The renderings of what the completed space will look like make me want to return all the sooner!
“Great Location!”
We were so pleased with the Grand Hotel. This was our first trip to England and we couldn't have been happier. Our room was quite large, very clean and comfortable. We were in the best of all locations close to everything. We felt very safe walking along at night. When my daughter couldn't get tickets to the show she wanted, the nice girl at the front desk booked them in minutes. We really enjoyed the cold water provided too. Free internet to use on second floor in lounge, free washer/dryer. Couldn't be better.
“Comfortable, Convenient and Quiet!”
I just returned home from staying at The Grand for a week, and would definitely return. I was in the smallest room in the hotel (small because it was at the end of the hall and had a "cut off corner" to the room due to the building's triangular corner at the end). But for a single, it was completely fine. I never expect much space in London hotels anyway. The room was clean, amenities were fine, free internet service and in-room printing. You just had to go down to the printer in the lounge to pick up your printout using a secure ID code so noone else can get your copy. The staff was friendly and courteous. The location could not be beat. I was able to walk to all the West End theatres, Chinatown, Picadilly Circus, Leicester Sq., and the London Eye. As a single female, I felt completely safe, even at night. There are several pubs just around the corner for cheap dining and beer. And the hotel is withn 2 blocks of both the Embankment and the Charing Cross tube stations. Which serviced most of the key tube lines (Northern, Bakerloo, Circle and District) for quick access to virtually anywhere in the city. And despite being right by Trafalgar Square, it was on a very quiet street. My room was on the back side of the building and was extremely quiet. So you have the convenience of staying along the Strand area, but without the street noise and traffic. And possibly more convenient because of the closer proximity to the Embankment station.
“Didn't expect that quality”
I was very impressed. Very clean hotel, in the middle of London. I had room 201, which had very high ceiling, beautifuly decorated. Even being in front of the ice machine and filtered water machine, I heard nothing at all. Some noise from the streets, but nothing that wouldn't let me sleep. One small thing, the people cleaning the room seem to be very affraid to leave a spare roll of toilet paper on the side. You literally have to ask one at the counter if you think you'll need to replace the one you currently have during the night. Hey, for that price and that location, perhaps that was the way they found to make money ;) Seriously, though, for the price, I wouldn't sleep anywhere else.
“Very impressed”
The location was fantastic and the shower was excellent. For a weekend trip to London, it was the perfect place to stay, only 2mins from an underground. We would definitely return when we next go to London.
“Impressive Hotel”
Very accommodating employees, they held our bags and let us check in very early as soon as a room was available. Helpful with questions and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Internet access on the TV was great.
“Perfect location”
Newly renovated. easy check in. Free bottled water
“"Fabulous Location"”
