“Great Hotel”
The Hilton is a great value with a super location for exploring London.
“Highly recommend this Hilton”
Great staff, beautiful, contemporary and clean hotel, the best I have stayed in London in 5 trips. Everyone was smiling, helpful, courteous, and my needs were met in everyway at a fair value. Look for the hairdryer in the desk drawer!
“Is definitely a keeper. We will go back.”
Great hotel, good breakfasts, friendly staff and very clean.
“Best Yet”
Having stayed at the Lansdowne Club and the Richmond Gates Hotel, the Hilton Kensington was by far the best in all offerings.
“Excellent”
Excellent hotel to stay in. Excellent sevrice and food. Very close to the nearest public transportation terminal, (tube, bus, trains) Nice location in that part of London.
“My son and I cannot wait to go back”
Very clean and exactly as described. The staff were all very helpful... especially the concierge!! Got us to the airport when we were about to miss a departure. Very safe and fun location.
“An excellent stay for tourists (or anyone)”
My girlfriend and I recently completed our first trip to London and our stay at the Kensington Hilton was practically flawless. The room was comfortable, clean, and bright; the staff was very attentive and extremely friendly; the hotel itself offered a number of very excellent services. Kensington is a beautiful, charming neighborhood with a number of great restaurants, pubs, and a Tesco market right up the street for any extras you forgot to pack or for a cheap lunch. The bus stop right outside the hotel was incredibly convenient and the Holland Park and Shepard's Bush Tube stations are right up the street, so the fact that the hotel is a bit out of the way didn't really matter at all. In fact, the distance from central London and the attractions allowed us to see wonderful parts of the city we wouldnt have seen had we kept to the middle of London. Overall, this hotel is an excellent stay for the low price we paid on Expedia, and I would recommend it to anyone.
“Loved this hotel”
My daughter (age 17) loved this hotel. The service, cleanliness, etc. was top-rate. Everyone was friendly and always eager to help. We especially applaud the Concierge, Rachid Battal. Thanks to Delta, our baggage didn't make it for most of our trip. He was did everything he could to help us. Rachid also was extremely informative to attractions, etc. The Hilton is lucky to have him! Our room was a good standard size and always very well clean. The coffee was great and they kept all the ammenties well stocked. The location is an easy walk to the tube. Also the bus is right outside. Although this area doesn't have any little shops, a gigantic mall is 2 blocks away with eveyrthing you could possible want - including groceries! Nottinghill is not too far and an easy bus ride.
“bien situé et confortable”
hotel excentré et donc calme dans un bon quartier mais tres accessible (bus 94 en face de l'hotel vous amenant directement au centre de londres(oxford street et picadilly).
“Good Hotel in a great location”
The Hotel is in a great location in the heart of Kensington, and is approximately 30 minutes away from Heathrow. It is very well connected to the 'centre' of London via public transport (bus, overground and underground), meaning it is easy to get around and 'see the sights'. In terms of rooms, we stayed in two rooms on the second floor, which were of typical London style (relatively 'compact'), my only complaint here would be that the bathroom ceiling is perhaps too low for anyone much over 6ft, and even at my height (5' 8") felt a little too close for comfort! That said, the rooms were both furnished to a high standard, and were otherwise brilliant. All of the staff we dealt with were friendly and welcoming, and above all else, they were genuinely caring and helpful, and took care of our every need. We ate in both the WestEleven restaurant and the AM/PM Bar, and I would highly commend both (delicious food too!). I would certainly rate this hotel highly, and am already looking into staying again in the future!
