My wife and I spent 4-5 days at the Plaka Hotel early May 2013. The hotel is centrally located, had free wifi that works well, good choices at breakfast, open dining all day for tea/coffee and a terrace with a great view of the Parthenon with an attached bar. Excellent value hotel. Staff was courteous and very helpful

Without doubt, this was the best hotel we stayed in during our recent trip around European cities. Modern, clean, up to date, amazing staff, lovely restaurant and fantastic room. Superb welcome, a hospitality tray on our arrival was wonderful. The bathroom was gorgeous, lovely toiletries and the bed was fabulously comfortable. The breakfasts were plentiful, delicious and filling. Great location, easy access to Acropolis and other sites, also a short walk from the metro. The lively atmosphere around the hotel's environs added to the flavour of our trip. Lots of graffiti around and about the local streets looked a bit scruffy but in fact didn't spoil the locality. Endless choice of great food everywhere, particularly around Monastiraki and Plaka. The centre of Athens and all of its delights are within walking distance of the O&B Athens Boutique Hotel.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. One of the nicest aspects was the relaxed atmosphere, including a distinct absence of those petty hotels rules such as "breakfast between 8 & 10" or " must vacate your room by a certain time". Excellent staff who were very helpful and made our stay that much more enjoyable- a real find!

This boutique hotel is perfectly located slightly off the tourist trail - such a peaceful spot with spectacular views across the Island. The staff, the room, the service were all top notch - I would highly recommend to couples looking for a luxurious romantic escape.

Arhontiki was such a lovely hotel! The grounds were very well looked after and the pool was so relaxing. The hotel is a 5 min drive from the old town but they hotel does a shuttle so it is easy to get into town. If you are coming home after midnight you might find it hard to get a taxi is there are not many taxis on the island. Would def reccommened it! The owners were very helpful and made our trip really enjoyable!

Firstly, you do not get a hotel 'bedroom', you effectively get an apartment. Secondly, the quality and taste of every aspect of the interior is pleasingly superb. I travel a great deal and very rarely choose to comment (other than on occasion, negatively) but this is so good that I would wish to frecommend it to other travellers - you will not be disappointed - the owners REALLY know (and CARE) about what they provide -
