"Great Location"
We had a great 2 night stay... close to everything, within walking distance to bars and shopping, we liked the size of the room and the staff were very pleasant. It was our honeymoon and they surprised us with 2 plates of cheese, crackers and fruit. It was delicious and a nice treat!

"Centrally located and lively atmosphere"
Well situated for seeing the main attraction in the city. Competent staff although the breakfast dining room is a little small considering the number of rooms in the hotel; this can lead to a long wait for a table for breakfast. Room was clean with adequate facilities - although no minibar or fridge.

"Comfortable and convenient."
We were very happy with our four night stay at the Ashling. The room was clean and comfortable. All staff were courteous and quite willing to provide information regarding transportation and Dublin city sites. I've were also impressed with variety and quality of the offerings in the hotel restaurants. Though a little on the expensive side, food prices were in line with other restaurants in Dublin (certainly not an inexpensive city to visit). The Ashling was very convenient to the city Tram system stop, as well as the airport shuttle. Lastly, the Ashling is out of the main hullabaloo areas, so we had no noise issues.

"Great location and Value"
Day staff really friendly and happy to assist. The location was ideal and gave the opportunity to eat/drink in the apartment which makes the apartments even better value than your standard hotel. The apartment was large enough so that we had no noise traveling from other apartments which I often find to be an issue in most hotels.

"Close to the action but away from the noise."
We booked the executive room on the top floor. The hotel is right across the street from Christ Church Cathedral and Dublina. The Airlink 737 bus stops are around the corner. It takes you directly to Dublin's airport. 10euros round trip. Temple bar is only minutes away on foot. Some people may complaint about the bell from the church. But the hotel has double windows to block the noise. Hey. This is a city. The noise and excitement is part of the experience. Like many other European's hotels , there was no Air conditioning . But it was fairly cool when we visited in mid October. I would stay here again . The staffs were fantastic.

"Midweek stay in October"
Stayed here 13th to 15th October. Room 357. Wifi worked all the time which was important , managed to watch a football game on ipad via Skygo so the free wifi was good enough for that. Room was lovely, shower easy to use and powerful. Only negative about the room was that it didn't have any blinds or net curtain and sinc eour window overlooked other rooms then you either had to keep curtains closed or you couldn't really walk about in your room in anything other than fully clothed. Hotel location was very good, one minute walk from the top of O'Connell St. Lidl round the corner and Tesco across the road for supplies.
