"great location"
This hotel is situated right off the main street with shopping, tourist information, and easy walk to Temple Bar area. They had breakfast buffet for $9 pounds each person, but we could have skipped this and got breakfast cheaper at a place with more ambiance.

"Excellent hotel. Suitable for Croke Park and city."
Excellent location, very professional and friendly staff, well-maintained rooms and public areas. We have stayed in this hotel on at least a dozen occasions and we will be returning in two weeks and many times in the future.

"Hip Hotel at the Wrong End of Town!"
The Gibson is great - but it is out of the way, a victim of the crash. It sits at the edge of the docks, behind the O2, and with a very useful tram stop (The Point) which will whisk you downtown or to the IFSC. Hotel rooms are fantastic (unless you're not keen on lime green) - very clean, large and modern. Bar is nice, but didn't use the restaurant (except for breakfast, which was poor value). My one gripe is the attitude of (some) staff. Receptionist wasn't particularly nice upon arrival, and set a bad first impression, especially as she declined to take my corporate debit card for incidentals. Poor service. Otherwise, a good experience.

"Charming Georgian town house!"
Tiny room - exactly what I wanted - comfortable bed - plenty of hot water and towels. Bring your own soap, wash cloth and shower cap. Good breakfast - cheaper if you do not pay in advance. Very clean and helpful and friendly staff.

"Close to Phoenix Park"
We have stayed here for the Great Ireland Run each March for the last four years, and intend to return again next year. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and the buffet breakfast is excellent. The hotel has a relaxing comfortable bar/lounge serving food all day, there's also a restaurant offering a carvery lunch and a varied evening menu. Excellent public transport connections, the Guiness brewery and Phoenix Park are both in walking distance. Free wifi throughout the hotel. Recommended.

"Excellent location, cosy hotel, friendly staff"
City centre Dublin but in a quiet bit. Hotel has a quirky lay out and slightly kitschy design but is very comfortable and the staff are excellent, really friendly and helpful.
