What a wonderful place! It’s in a quiet location but decently accessible to the city. Billy was a wonderful host and our time in Dublin went great! Thank you :)
We had a lovely stay in this house full of character. The location is great for reaching central Dublin but you still feel removed from the hustle and bustle. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with all we needed to cook. Billy was a fantastic host and was really helpful when we required a late check out.
It is a bit of a walk to downtown Dublin but a nice quiet location with a kitchen, living room and two great bedrooms. This stay was a very good choice for us.
We had a wonderful stay in Dublin and loved the history of this cottage. The location was great and we enjoyed walking the neighborhoods with easy access to hiking trails, pubs, shops and beaches. I definitely recommend this stay if you're looking for a quiet place outside the bustle of downtown!
Wonderful cottage within walking distance to the park, pubs and restaurants. The bus stop is just a few minutes' walk to catch the bus into Dublin City. The cozy fireplace was perfect for a relaxing nightcap. Highly recommend this place!
I stayed in this lovely cottage on St. Paddy's Weekend with three other friends. During such a busy time, this place was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood which was a nice break at times. The host was very communicative and helpful beforehand and during our stay which we appreciated! Overall, if you're looking for a great option on a busy weekend, I would highly recommend it!

The cottage was great and very charming. The location is just not very close to any restaurants or other city activities. It is very easy to get a taxi/uber so that’s a plus. You can also walk to many fantastic areas in Dublin but each walk is 30/40 minutes or more to get to some of the more popular areas (local city bus and train stops are within walking distance). Also, it is right next to the port harbor where they load ships so it can be a little noisy at times. This is still a very good option for staying in Dublin even with these caveats. The decor is excellent and it has all the amenities that travelers need.
We loved our time here! The taxi driver had a hard time finding it but william sent me detailed instructions before we arrived so i was able to tell the taxi driver how to get to the property. We loved the location. We loved being right by ringsend park. We walked to and from city center every day, it took about 40 mins but we loved it.
Great stay in Dublin. Billy was easy to contact and answered questions for us. Quiet area. Access to public transportation was reasonable.

This cottage was exactly as-pictured and described. A truly unique gem hidden away in the docklands which served as a wonderful home-base during our Dublin adventures. The host was very responsive and courteous and check-in was seamless. As with other comments, the location is unique and can be a bit tricky to find, but the instructions are clear and everyone seemed to find us just fine (I wish we had had more time to explore the docklands area more on foot, it looked so interesting). Once we mastered the bus system, it was an easy travel to downtown either on the new S2 bus or through the park to the other lines in Ringsend village and we felt safe walking to and from bus stops. Billy’s guidance and recommendations were fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was clean and tidy.
The place was authentic, cozy, and warm. Beds were comfortable was a short walk to coffee thru Ringsend park which was beautiful filled with kids playing soccer and hurling! Easy to get around and far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle!! Billy was easy to get intouch with and everything was grand!
We absolutely loved this place. It's very charming and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. Beds were very comfortable. The location is interesting. It's about a 15-minute pleasant walk to the nearest shops, which wasn't a problem for us. Even though it's across the road from a large active shipping port, noise was never a problem at all. The neighbors were quiet as well. It was a nice haven after busy days exploring the city. The next time we visit Dublin we'll definitely try to stay here. In an ideal world I'd take an extra few weeks to explore Billy's remarkable library.
This house is a bit small but charming and just what we needed. We were concerned about the house being off the beaten path but it is convenient to the bus and a short ride to city center. It was a great place for home base as we explored the city and countryside and a comfortable place to come back to at the end of a long day. Plus, a short walk to the Merry Cobbler, our new favorite pub. We would recommend!
The Cottage had such an authentic Irish charm about it. We loved the location walked to pubs and food store. Short Uber into the town of Dublin which was such a cool place - so much happening, got to tour some pubs, ate some fish n chips got to see beautiful architecture and hear some authentic Irish bands playing on the streets. I can't wait to go back. Billy was a very responsive host.
We stayed here while other family members stayed in a hotel in Temple Bar (central Dublin). They had noise, parties till bars closed. We had a quiet neighborhood, easy on street parking, two comfortable bedrooms in a private, charming townhouse. We would definitely stay here again. We especially loved talking daily walks on Dublin Bay, about a five minute walk away (from roundabout, take South Bank Road to path on right to the beach.)
