The Alex is a gem! The location is near Trinity College and beautiful St. Stephen's Green - great neighborhood! But truly, it is not far from any place that you'd like to walk to in the city. The room is well-appointed, the shower is especially exceptional, and the gym (shared with two other properties) is a full workout facility (RARE in Dublin!). We would go back in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay at The Alex. The staff was so nice and helped with every request. The location is great if you’re going to the stadium but also close to wonderful pubs, restaurants and the shops on Grafton street. I’d recommend staying here!

Property was ideally situated for most of the amenities and was well maintained. Warm welcome, but let down by staff on the last morning when I was asked if I had purchased breakfast 3/4 times despite reassuring them I had already paid on several occasions. Disappointed with this questioning especially as they could easily have checked their records.

The hotel was in a great location, easy to walk everywhere. We didn’t really interact with the staff much, but when we did they were friendly. I liked that I could open the window to let fresh air in, though I had to close it at night to block the noise from the street (people walking by and talking). The bed was massive and comfortable. We had a really pleasant stay!
