    Asia Hotel Guide

When mentioning Asia to most people, immediately thoughts of exotic locales like China and Japan normally spring to mind. Of course, Asia is a massive continent and contains a wider variety of places to visit and enjoy than just the Orient. There are almost fifty countries in Asia that are divided among six different regions. Regardless of where you plan to visit, you can find cheap hotel deals in Asia on Expedia.

Central Asia contains countries such as Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. Central Asia covers an extremely large area of land and is very varied in terms of geography. Here, one can find high mountains, like the Tian Shan, and grassy steppes upon which few or no trees grow, as well as vast deserts.

Eastern Asia includes the People's Republic of China and Japan. Most societies in eastern Asia have been a part of the Chinese cultural sphere, and even much of the vocabulary and writing are derived from Classical Chinese. Sometimes, Japan and Korea are referred to as being in northeastern Asia.

Northern Asia is dominated by Russia. While not all of Russia is in Asia, a small portion of this massive country resides in Europe, and many people think of Russia as almost a separate place from Asia. Siberia, Russia, is famous for its cold weather, as there are no mountain chains stopping Arctic air currents from flowing down over the plains.

In southeastern Asia, you will find locations like Vietnam and Cambodia. Most of the climate year-round is tropically hot and humid, with plenty of rainfall during the wet season. However, north Vietnam is an exception, as they normally have a cold winter. The southeastern Asian rain forest is the second-largest in the world.

Southern Asia includes Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and the subcontinent of India. Southern Asia is a melting pot of different cultures, which gives it a large ethnic diversity and makes for a fun and exciting vacation.

Western Asia is the home of Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Iran. As you might have guessed, much of the climate is made up of arid and semi-arid land, though there are large expanses of forest and green valleys tucked away here and there. These regions are beautiful to visit.

"Perfect for Solo travel around Tokyo area"
I stayed in the East Tower for a week and it was perfect for what I needed. Just a simple place to rest my head during my vacation. This hotel is only a few steps away from the Shinagawa Station where you can quite literally grab public transportation to anywhere. If you go here by Taxi from Haneda Airport it will cost about 50 dollars. I highly recommend buying a train card and taking the Monorail from the airport for like 6 dollars. The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful, and I even took advantage of the "Green Cleaning" services and earned money back in the form of gift certificates.

"Clean and fancy hotel in the red light district "
The hotel itself was very nice and comfortable. We had a smaller double standard room and yes it was very tiny. I am very organized to I managed to organize our suitcases on the couch, bench, under the table and on the window sill (it was pretty deep). I noticed the under bench safe when we were checking out after 7 days. Oops. Lol. They should've made buildt in drawers under the couch or bed. That would help with the space. But overall the room, as tiny as it was, was very comfy and fancy. I especially loved the higher end bathroom. It comes with complimentary tooth brush, hair brush, razors, slippers, tooth paste and a few other items that are free to take and use. I was very upset that the rooftop bar was closed during our visit. It is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the shinjuku station but memorize your route or you might get lost! Our fastest route was - exit right side of Granbell, turn left at light, turn right at Siena Hotel, walk straight for a while and turn left at Family Mart. If you see the police station on your right, you're going the right way! Look for the Gracery Hotel (tall blue Godzilla hotel) and you'll find your way every time. Don't rely on google maps. A cab ride from the hotel to the station is between 800-1500¥ so I recommend walking unless you have luggage to haul. The hotel staff speaks English and are very friendly. They managed to squeeze in our room and clean it daily! If you're a tourist, might I recommend checking out the Robot show

    "Good location"
Excellent location, after arriving HK International Airport, take the train to Kowloon Station and the free Shuttle, which run every 10 to 15 minutes, to this main entry of the hotel, roughly 10 minutes ride. Staff very friendly and efficient, room is typical small size, enough for two person, clean and neat. within a minutes you find all kinds of restaurant and shopping, including supper market. Subway station entrance is inside the hotel, how convenient that is. Very safe area and a lot of night life.

Nice hotel overall in very busy area of Kowloon. Guests should not expect sweeping views of HK harbor from their rooms or even the pool area on the 19th floor, which in itself is a nice tranquil oasis with a good size pool.

Very good service, staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful location - close to many of the tourist destinations. Great breakfast every morning. I was upgraded to the Krishna room - fantastic. Sometimes the water supply was limited, and could not shower in the morning. Very close to the rice terraces, one of my favorite spots in Bali.

    "A vacation to remember"
To celebrate our anniversary, my wife and I planned to have a relaxing vacation in Bali. Before heading there, we planned to take our time enjoying the resort facilities and head out to town a bit for some local delights. However, once we stepped foot into the resort, we know we will stay in the resort the whole time. We reserved the ocean room club room, which has the club lounge privileges. It is definately the best choice ever! The club lounge provides meals 5 times a day and a great variety of drinks. The staffs in the club lounge are extremely friendly and if you need some recommendations or just want to talk to a local, they are always there to share their experiences in Bali. Moreover, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a villa! We have the nicest butler who made sure our stay is pleasant. The villa is located up the cliff from the Kisik restaurant so the view is perfect. We enjoyed sunset from the pool in our villa and it is sure a scene to remember. On our way back to the airport, my wife and I both agreed that this is our best trip as of now and we are looking forward to return to Ayana in the near future.
