The location was about a 15 min walk from shinjuku station. There were some smaller stations a little closer (5 min walk) but google maps never really gave us an option to route through those for the most part. The bed was quite firm, more than myself or my friend prefer and we found the beds to be uncomfortable. Very clean and extremely friendly staff!

The Knot was a wonderful place to stay in the Shinjuku area. Very walkable to the main station, but just enough out of the way to be a quiet(er) reprieve from the city life. It's situated across the street from a lovely park and near the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building - you can even see the hotel from the observation floor! Additionally, the staff was courteous and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was glorious! Would recommend spending some time in the lobby, as there's a really cool audio setup that's always playing chill music. We didn't eat the restaurant but the food looked good, and there were always people there.

Hotel was about a 5 mins walk from tochomae station. Exit A4 has lift for those with luggages. Area around hotel had nothing to eat except a chinese restaurant which had great and cheap food and a family mart down the road. Area was quiet at night as hotel is located in an area that seems to be more for business. Staff was friendly and check in was fast and seamless. Room was alright for 2 with 2 large luggages. Abit tight but managable. Toilet was a bit small but had a bathtub. Sound proof was quite bad as we could hear everything from the corridor thus we didnt have a good rest.
