Italy Hotels

Ideal location with an impressive feel as soon as you walk into the lobby. We arrived hours before check-in time but they gladly kept our luggage so we could go exploring. The room was huge, had a fridge and a flat screen TV (don't count on too many English stations but we weren't there to watch TV anyway). We had a room that did not overlook the street so we were able to open the window and shut off the air conditioning as the fan was a bit noisy. I would not hesitate to stay at the Quirinale again as it is central to everything, it was clean, the staff were friendly and the price I paid was very reasonable.

Very clean room. First room allocated overlooked an inner fire escape but when we asked for an alternative we were moved (and upgraded) to a superior room without quibble. Excellent breakfast with very attentive waiting staff. Hotel well situated close to Termini. Will be staying here again in future.

Stayed here the first week in May 2013. Could not have had a better experience. Staff was great, the location is perfect. Easy on and off at the train station and subways. Felt safe at all times. Lots of great places to eat in the neighborhood. Highly recommended!

The maps I was looking at (even on the hotel's web site) were pretty useless for finding the place. However, some of the comments in hotel reviews provided invaluable tips, and I'm incredibly glad I read through them and made some notes before I left! Once you do find the hotel, it's really at the perfect location in Venice for touring around. The staff was very helpful and the desk staff were fluent in English. The room cleaning staff work hard and visited later at night for a turn-down service (but not always - I couldn't figure out the pattern). The view from our room wasn't great, but then we got to see a lot of beautiful sights outside the hotel, so that wasn't a big priority. The included breakfast was always the same, but it was large enough so you could shift your diet around a bit - eggs for a while, cereals for a while, and so on. The 30-minute free Internet access in the lobby was good enough for vacationing, but probably would be annoying if you were trying to get serious work done. We had an early flight out, so the dock at the hotel was very useful for taking an early-morning water taxi. We used Alilaguna to get to the hotel to begin with, however, which is SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper if the timing works out. I would have no problem returning to the hotel or recommending it.

This hotel is conveniently located within Venice. The staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

I took my boyfriend here for his 35th birthday on a weekend break. The hotel is in a great location and offers a free shuttle water taxi from the hotel to the neighbouring island and St Marco's so there is little need to shell out for a Vaperetto ticket. The outside rooftop pool is clean but cold and the views are amazing. The room was clean and spacious and the only thing i can critisise is that the bed was maybe a little too big!

The hotel and staff were amazing! The location in Florence is perfect. Seconds from the train station (perfect for day trips) and extremely close to all the sights Florence has to offer! The daily breakfast was a 10 with incredible city views! The only thing that I would have changed were the beds were a bit hard for my comfort level, but I quickly got over that as I was usually so exhausted from a long day of touring. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly nice and accommodating!

The location was super-convenient. The front desk staff were helpful. The breakfasts were better-than expected, with excellent coffee and healthy choices like fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals. We were delighted and surprised at how quiet our room was, even though we faced a very busy street; really sound-proof windows.
