"Staff was good. Hotel is nice but AC isn’t good. They need to make it work better and stronger. Other than that it’s good. Hard to sleep good with bad AC in the summer. "

"Beautiful and convenient location in the heart of Varenna. Very short walk to “Lovers Walk” which will bring you directly into the marina area. Many bars and restaurants. Gorgeous amenities including breakfast and a terrace for drinks and food. Accommodating staff. Would absolutely visit again! "

"Rita and the rest of the staff are very accommodating and made our stay very nice. Breakfast was good. It is easy to goto town but it is a steep climb back. We couldn’t find a taxi so Rita came to pick us up. Very nice! "

"View from our room was INSANELY BEAUTIFUL. From the balcony we saw mountains, nature, and water. And it was a quiet area. The restaurant downstairs was very very pretty and delicious. And the dessert looked like it was from a fancy 5 star restaurant. Short drive from lake como which is very beautiful and walkable. And there were parking spaces available in the front and back."

"Beautiful old Italian boutique hotel. Great architecture, modern styling with lovely lakeside views from bedrooms and dining area. Very comfortable. 10 mins walk to centre - ferries and restaurants, 20 mins walk to station. Quiet ( although water lapping can be noisy in the wind!) Food was good but not exceptional, breakfast was acceptable but not first class. Staff very pleasant although sometimes hard to find. Helpful and very friendly when available. "This is simply stunning bed and breakfast. But that’s it. Mountain View in Lecco. Immaculate place with zero room amenities. A common area for use at certain times and a beautiful pool. Breakfast one hour only, we didn’t take it as it’s served too late. Many rules including no eating in a room with no fridge or coffee maker. 20 min drive to Lecco Centro and 45 mins to como. "

"We loved our stay at Villa Marina! The staff was super lovely and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Francesca gave us recommendations for grocery stores and restaurants which was super helpful. Hot tub was a nice touch at the end of long days. "
