"We actually stayed at the Crown Plaza Hotel since the HI Express was closed for renovations. The front desk clerk helped us find a Saturday evening mass and arranged taxi transportation to and from church. She was very persistent in making sure we were taken care of!"

Paid extra for city view room, which we did get from 6th floor window but as we were using the sofa bed for our daughter, we couldn't get to the window. Other than that, the room was fine for 3 of us. The hotel is also in a good location for an evening out in the Southbank. The breakfast options were really good as long as you didn’t want a sausage. The staff brought out 4 sausages that were taken by 2 people and no sign of further...

"Entrance direct to the North Terminal very convenient ... but it is not clear from the website that you cannot enter from ground level. And signs for the taxi driver were not at all helpful."

"We liked the staff and location. Food is very expensive in Iceland so the complimentary breakfast was great. There was a little bar if you fancied a drink. The lobby was cozy and was nice to visit with our friends. Our room 406 was oddly shaped if you are tall ask for a different room. It was also noisy there was a pub next door. We would stay again."
