"We stayed for two nights. The accommodation is excellent, but we were not aware that it is a rental rather than a hotel. Therefore there was nobody available to check us in and had we not spoke Spanish, would have been in a difficult situation. We had to locate our room ourselves, which was unexpected and took us a while to locate as it is a large building. The property is on the outskirts of Tulum and taxis are needed to travel around. "Beautiful beachfront location. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The room is big and bed is comfortable . The cleaning staff was very helpful. The breakfast had plenty of choices and all of it was delicious. There is a small convenience store about a 2 min walk from the hotel. They do not sell alcohol, just an FYI . There are different restaurants near by inside the hotels which are open to the public. If you are wanting to go into town I suggest you rent a car or a taxi. There is a Cenote about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel location was clean and very quiet at night. Everyone at the hotel provided excellent customer service. "

Hotel Shibari Tulum - Restaurant & Cenote Club

"The only complaint I have is the mosquito problems they seem not to pay any attention to it. Beautiful place but is kind of hard to enjoy when you have 10 mosquito bites on your body constantly. 7/10"
