Ixchel Beach Hotel is located on the most beautiful beach on Isla Mujeres. Beach chairs and umbrellas are included. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Staff are excellent!

The property itself was nice. The staff was amazing and very friendly. The pools were ok would have been nice if they stayed cooler. The beach area was very very nice and kept very clean!! However the downside was the beds and bedding. They were as hard as a rock. Very uncomfortable and the blankets provided were thin and stiff. We did have an issue with one meal provided by the hotel that had sesame seeds which my daughter is allergic too and rather than re making the whole meal they just replaced the bun, this didn’t resolve the sesame seeds that touched the meat and fries. So we had to ask them to re make the whole thing and because of the language barrier it made it difficult. We enjoyed our stay but would choose somewhere else with comfier sleeping arrangements.

Overall, the hotel was not what I expected. During the day the beach is really busy with day trippers. Did not like that the pool and outdoor serviced stopped so early.
