Being a family of 5 means difficulties finding one room arrangements to fit us all. This was my first time booking through Expedia which saved $ and also scored free breakfast each day for our entire clan. (Moreover, this is the first time I have ever left a hotel review!). Everything was good for a "budget 5-star hotel". Keep in mind this is a boutique hotel and spaces and amenities are small and limited. I have no complains but on the other hand I was not blown away by anything either.

From arrival to departure, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed the full English breakfast and overall food experience. The hotel is centrally located to all main sites that made our booked excursions/tours convenient. The only downside to the hotel is that the rooms are a little snug. Otherwise my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

This a beautiful small hotel adjacent to the British Museum. The staff are friendly, attentive and committed to ensure comfort and a great stay. Great food in the restaurant, atmosphere in the bar and central sitting with coffee in the morning and hot chocolate in the afternoon. Short walk to Russel Square tube Station gives quick access to the London sites and a direct connection to Heathrow. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in London.

Excellent location next to a lot of transportation (tube, buses), shops, grocery, Hyde Park. Room had a nice bright view. Housekeeping kept the rooms spotless. The really nice surprise was the English breakfast included our daily fee - started the day off to a good start. Aquila swimming pool is nicely designed and along with fitness available for 15 pounds. I would come back here again.
