    Texas Hotel Guide

Popular entertainment often shows Texas as a land of cowboy hats, horses, pickup trucks, rolling plains, and deserts. While cowboy culture is alive and well in Texas, it is but one aspect of this great state. Texas is such a vast state that there is a little of everything to do here. Good hotels in Texas can further enhance your experience, so make sure to book your reservations early to ensure high-quality accommodations.

    What to Do in Texas

The real question is not what you can do but rather what you want to do. From the beautiful beaches along the Gulf of Mexico, such as those in South Padre Island, to heavily populated cities like Dallas and Houston, almost anything you can think of can be found in Texas, including a cheap Texas hotel deal.

If you want to see a piece of authentic Texas history, go to San Antonio and visit the Alamo. While there, take a walk along the Riverwalk. Corpus Christi has beautiful beaches. There are many great Texas hotels within walking distance of all of these attractions.

If you prefer a bit of music and a unique and fun city, Austin, the state capital, is an interesting place to visit. The culture of Austin is different from anywhere else in the state, and it has a very artistic atmosphere. Austin also offers visitors affordable Texas hotel deals.

Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston are excellent choices for those who love to visit large cities. With world-class shopping, dining, and nightlife, these cities always have something going on. These major cities also have some of the grandest Texas hotels, and you can often find great Texas hotel packages if you book rooms in advance.

    "Convenient location and great service"
The location is perfect! One black away from the free trolley that takes you around downtown. One block to the free museums. Walkable distance to the convention center. Room service is very quick. Even though they said the food would take 45 mins it only took at most 30 mins all 3 times I have called for food. Their room service food was so delicious I didnt want to go out and eat. Room was clean. Only complaint I have is the a/c is noisy, you can hear street noise even though I was on the 12th floor, and the pillow was very flat and uncomfortable to a point I woke up with a stiff neck all 4 nights. Service and convenience is so good I have overlooked the cons. This was my second time staying at this hotel. I would return if I am ever back in town. I'll just bring my own pillow next time.

"Nice Older Hotel with charm and character"
We love the Adolphus. it has a lot of charm and is conveniently located in downtown Dallas. I would have rated it a 5 except for the Rodeo Bar & Grill. The Rodeo is their only bar and restaurant while they are undergoing renovations. We had a concert to go to and stopped in there to get a drink before. They had no waitress on staff that I could see, and the bartender left his back turned to me as I stood at the bar for what seemed an eternity. He finally got around to asking me for my order. We decided to stop by the bar following the concert and have another drink prior to returning to our room. We sat there for at least 10 minutes and didn't see any wait staff OR bartender. We finally decided to leave. The hotel should really do something about this.as it tarnishes their reputation.

    "Beautiful hotel"
Loved my experience with the Magnolia Hotel. The bed was very comfortable, and the room Was very clean. I love the beauty of the hotel too. Great experience. The only downside is the valet service that runs $25 a day, however being in the middle of the city I guess I can understand. It's something good to keep in mind.

    "What gets cleaned is clean"
Friendly staff, COLD lobby, convenient location. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the hotel room - which is a pretty big deal to us. The bathroom was very clean, the sheets were clean but there were lots of stains on the dust ruffle of the bed, the arm and sides of the chairs and the floor. The result was we felt very limited in the room and tried to only sit on sheets that appeared freshly laundered. The other odd thing about the room was the toilet was extremely high off the ground.
