Great hotel, the only drawback was the noisy air conditioner. But the property, furniture, amenities were all immaculate.

"Nice hotel- close to the beach...but very noisy"
The facilities were great and the convenience of being across the street from the beach was exactly what we wanted. However, just be prepared and bring earplugs because being on seawall blvd is extremely noisy. I'm in Galveston 3-4 times a year and it's always very busy so this isn't a new thing. Just expect the noise.

"walk to the beach "
it was walking distance to beach and restuarants had a beautiful view too. The appearance of hotel was pretty. Pool was not heated. Hotel charged more than expedia price said. Front desk ladies were nice. Breakfast people did not talk to anyone & there was hardly any food besides cereal.

"Nice stay by the beach"
The good - decent breakfast, nice view from the balcony, great AC!!! Staff very, very nice and friendly. The location was great and it was quiet at night. The underground parking garage was nice, and we always found a spot close to the elevators. I was traveling with my 89 year old Mom and she doesn't walk long distances and is unsteady, so close to the elevator was very good. The not so good - you have a weird turn in from the seawall (once you do it a couple times, it is OK), and the swimming pool was really, really small.

"Easy beach access."
We required a late check-in which they accommodated. Room was clean and comfortable. Balcony was big enough for two chairs and not much more. It was raining so we didn't use it anyway. This hotel is not on the beach so not much of a view.
