« This time we stayed in the Cottage. It was a separate unit behind the main house. Easy to enter using the code I was emailed. The cottage was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table....

« My husband and I loved our stay at the Carr Mansion! This historical home was charming, clean, and comfortable. Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. The location of the home is near to several other historical landmarks/ museums, the Strand, and the Seawall. « One elevator for the entire 5 floor property which is incredibly slow on top of that the $20+ breakfast is a joke I've had better at other 2 star hotels hotel staff was helpful restaurant staff not so much there pool is very nice though and the pool side bar staff is great overall not a terrible place but they definitely don't earn that 3 star hotel rating property needs a lot of maintenance »

« Ma compagne et moi avions réservé cet hôtel en bord de plage à Galveston, j’avais laissé un petit mot pour que l’on puisse avoir une chambre face mer si possible. Lors du check in, nous avions simplement l’impression d’embêter (pour rester polis) l’employé qui essayait de suivre son match à la télé ! Je lui ait demandé gentillement si nous pouvions avoir la chambre avec vue mer et il m’a simplement dit « non » avec une excuse du genre « c’est complet » alors que l’hôtel n’était absolument pas...

Baignoire et WC séparés de l'espace lavabo, mais il pourrait y avoir un rideau pour séparer le lavabo de la chambre pour plus d'intimité. Petit déjeuner varié, salé, sucré. »
