"What a beautiful historical property. It is well-maintained and furnished in an age-appropriate style. The staff were friendly, helpful, and informative; sharing historical information about the home. We had a room up the stately stairs that looked out from tall windows onto the balcony. Our stay was peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was a delight. It is always interesting to insert yourself into the ongoing story of such a place. We hope to go again."

"Room had everything we needed. The kitchen area was so great….even a full size refrigerator and dishwasher….we could have stayed a month and not wanted for anything. Breakfast was good. In the afternoon they said it was OK for my family and me to play dominoes at one of the breakfast area tables. They even had beer, sodas and snacks for sale."

"The property and the area around the hotel were clean and well maintained. The room was neat, clean and newly remodeled. The hotel was within walking distance of resturarants, bars and the beach. Not a 4 star resort but very nice for the price paid. "

"The hotel is a fun concept, designed more for younger people. There wasn’t a coffee maker in the room or a microwave, although they sold Lean Cuisine in the lobby. Breakfast items were not hot, although they were fresh. The room air conditioner was the loudest ever and not efficient."
