"Great resort outside of busy Honolulu "
Compared to all off the other Hawaiin Islands Oahu left something to be desired. My husband and I were so glad we stayed at the Kahala as it still had the peace and beauty many of the resorts we stayed at on the other islands had. The hustle and bustle of Honolulu can be quite unnerving so the Kahala became our sanctuary. Our dolphin lagoon view room was spacious and luxurious. The room service was excellent.

    "Beautiful hotel and view"
The Sheraton is right on the beach. We had a great view of Diamond Head, beach and ocean from our room. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There were two pools. One was for families and there was a separate adult pool. We had a great time and didn't want to leave. We ran out of time before we ran out of things to do and see. We will definitely return.

"Clean classy hotel in northwest Maui. "
Pros: -clean, comfortable property and rooms -great views with the ocean view upgrades -the room has everything you need, from mouth wash to great lotions Cons: - at least an hour from the airport, a lot of activities are 1-2 hrs away, like helicopter rides and Hana highway. The traffic to get to the airport is crazy, it's one lane. - the beach is a bit of a walk from the hotel - the worst part was the food. There are no vegetarian options at all. When we asked the waiters at the sushi place and banyan tree if the chef can make something vegetarian and tasteful, they said everything is on the menu. It was the worst feeling paying $100 for some corn on Cobb, bland asparagus soup and a tiny portion of bland pasta. The sushi place only had edamame and veg sushi. We learned to eat outside of the resort.

    "Perfect location with beach access."
Waikoloa Beach Marriott has a good standard of accommodation and facilities. The prepaid breakfast selection is excellent. Staff are helpful and courteous when needed. We found it an ideal location for visiting other areas of the Big Island. Shops across the road are useful for daily needs, gift or special purchases. There are several good restaurants and a food hall on the complex. Waikoloa Beach Marriott has it's own beautiful beach which seems to be used by residents only. It has easy access with sunloungers and watersports available. If you like a busy resort then think about Hiloor Kona instead.

"5 star resort on the big island"
This resort was fantastic, the grounds were beautiful, the staff went out of their way to be helpful, the only downside (and it was a big one), was that the food was VERY expensive, and there were no other close options. Burgers cost $18!! Snorkel use was included in the daily resort fee ($30), and the beach and reef were great, we swam with turtles every day.
