"Hotel was nice but definitely needed to be cleaner"
The service was wonderful for a training. However the rooms cleanliness was questionable. The breakfast door tags had been used as a previous tenants note pad for a to list, dirty towels under the bed, dirty plastic cups stacked on top of the clean cups in the plastic, and the shower head was hanging from the wall with a small hole around it allowing for my hand to actually fit inside the wall.

"Nice hotel, staff could use some refinement!"
We have stayed here several times, the location cannot be beat. The rooms are on the smallish side and the bathroom, very small. There is no fan in the bathroom which I find odd. The staff is not very professional, this may sound picky, but the woman who greeted us at check out had chipped black nail polish and did not look well kept...overall vibe from the staff was sloppy and disinterested. When I went out to get my car from the valets, they did not even look up - both were "playing" on their phones. For this reason the 4 star rating is a bit of a stretch. Pros - the lobby area and dining are very nice. I love the common spaces and nice leather chairs, etc.

"flight was late, it was a short stay"
Staff was very nice and tried to please, room was clean and had all of the little extras, (i.e. ear plugs, q tips, hair drier, etc) that made my short stay a little nicer.

"Historic Hotel w Character"
Charming historic hotel, but lacking in amenities. Our room was small and unfortunately on busy street under construction during the early morning and daytime hours. The night life on 6th street could also be heard when the street closed to traffic. I was disappointed that there was not a dresser in the room so I could unpack my clothes and place in drawers, only a nightstand. The standard Hotel info book lacked in information about the hotel amenities & did not offer a room service menu. There was no nightly turn down service, usually offered in a 4 star hotel. However, our maid was very pleasant and accommodating. The hotel bar area was full of character, but smelled of stale beer and popcorn. The hotel location was very convenient to the downtown dining and shopping. There was no guest parking other than valet. Didn't see the concierge desk staffed but only occasionally.

"Beautiful hotel close to downtown, wonderful staff"
I was treated wonderfully here, staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. My flight was delayed 5 hours and they let me stay 2 hours past the normal check-out time. This hotel is very comfortable, with a large outdoor terrace and no hang-ups about smoking out there.

"Great location, So clean!"
We loved our stay at the Hilton Austin! As soon as we checked in, the staff was so accommodating and wonderful. They took our phone numbers and said we could text them any needs we had! We were pleasantly surprised by our room. It was very clean and so comfortable! We were walking distance to Rainey St and 6th St. It is perfectly located. Around midnight we text the hotel asking for some items in our room and they did everything they could and got us them! Truly a great experience.
