I had a fantastic stay at the tommie Austin! The location is hard to beat—it’s within walking distance of so much of Austin’s nightlife, live music, restaurants, and cultural attractions, making it the perfect home base for exploring the city. What really made my stay stand out was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout my visit. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, and their hospitality made my trip even more memorable. I would definitely stay here again and hope to be back in Austin soon. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stylish, convenient, and welcoming place to stay!

Some of the staff were rude, not welcoming. Meanwhile some staff were lovely - the barista on Monday morning, some of the pool/bar staff. The pool was super crowded so plan ahead. Room in the Tommie was nice. Bed was comfy! But the shower/ bathroom set up was not ideal but makes sense for the “European style”.

The hotel was cute and in a good location! From our room on the 12th floor you could unfortunately hear people from others rooms… in our case up until 3AM. Aside from the noise, hotel was solid. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay at this particular hotel again.

We found The Tommie to be a great experience as it is part of the same building as The Thompson hotel so you get the same amenities and service. Some people have said The Tommie has smaller rooms but we did not find that to be an issue as they were very nicely styled and adequate in size for us as a couple. The location is right in the heart of all the action so you don’t really need a car. Would definitely stay again.

This property is an Awesome experience with great dining within or walking distance for any taste. Be prepared to find parking or pay $60+ per night for Valet. This was the only set back of the trip. But, if you are wanting to stay in downtown Austin by 6th street and near action this is a great option.

Great location, excellent valet and bar/restaurant staff. Rooms are smaller but on par with many European hotels and very comfortable. Room wasn’t serviced on one occasion, and little in the way of recognition of the inconvenience of this my front desk, but quickly rectified and not a big issue in the end. Would recommend
