Property is basically new. It is not far from the city center even though it is probably to far to walk. Other than that the location is good, staff is friendly, morning breakfast is good, nothing to complain about.

Upon check in, not only was the person working the front counter polite and diligent to make our check in fast and smooth, but the general manager (I believe his name was Free Martin) took time to come and welcome us. The Inn at St. John was quite charming and really good value. The beds were very comfortable and the room and bathroom were quite large considering it's a historic building. It had everything we needed and I would definitely stay here again.

This was during the start of the COVID-19 outbreak and the hotel was amazing! We were in the middle of a trip to visit family when everything started shutting down. The shuttle was offered to take us to find dinner and breakfast became a grab and go bag. Thanks for taking care of us.
