The staff were very friendly. We we leaving the hotel before breakfast was going to be served and we were able to get a to-go breakfast. I thought that was very thoughtful of them. Great place to rest your head.

The warmer weather months are exceptional with the added bonus of extended daylight. There is up to 24 hours of daylight in the interior region and 19 hours in the inside passage region, leaving plenty of daylight to watch polar bears hunt for their fishy meals. A holiday in Alaska would be wasted without taking advantage of its natural beauty. Bring a pair of binoculars so that you do not miss a single Orca sighting.
