Love the lobby area decor. Room had a great view to the lake. Room didn’t have a shower, so we showered with it open like the new style. Not recommended. Only spent one night, it worked out. Front desk was advised on checking out. The ladies (driver, front desk & kitchen) were outstanding.

Flight arrived 2hrs before check in. Hotel had a storage room for luggage until we could check in. Airport shuttle was excellent. Breakfast was mediocre but enough variety to get the job done. Near the train tracks, and trains blew horns about once an hour until about 9p or 10p. Silent for the overnight.

We stayed here as a quick overnight stay while traveling on the Alaska Railroad. It is just a short walk from the train depot. It’s an older property but room was clean and comfortable for one night.

Great for a last-minute overnight stay! The customer service was excellent and the staff were very helpful, especially with getting us checked into the suite we had requested prior to arrival. Unfortunately, when we arrived there was a very unpleasant sewer-like smell in the foyer, which was definitely noticeable. Aside from that, the amenities were great and the kids had a wonderful time in the pool. Overall, it worked well for a quick overnight stay, and we really appreciated the friendly and helpful service.

Location is down a steep hill from downtown Anchorage. Near the train station, which is convenient,when riding the train. The train horn goes off all night and day and is quite loud. The continental breakfast is good. Was OK for the price.

Right across from the Alaska Railroad and very convenient if you are taking the train. My upper level room was larger than most other hotels and ceilings were a lot higher leading to a very spacious experience. The exterior of the property could be cleaner. Didn't have an opportunity to try the breakfast so no opinion on it. Room had an A/C which was very effective but a bit noisy.

This hotel is old, super dirty, and smells awful (smells like wet dog and mold combined). When I got to the assigned room, I went back down right away to the front desk to checkout—that’s how bad this hotel is. The only positive about this hotel is the young lady at the front desk (I think her name was Prim). She was very friendly and apologetic. It’s also next door to the homeless encampment.

It was as expected. Relatively inexpensive and convenient to the train station. But it’s outdated, grungy, and there were bugs coming through a hole in the wall beside the tub. I knew what I was signing up for for a day and a half stay where I didn’t spend much time in the room.
