Very beautiful hostoric building to stay in! The room was very nice, with a large California King bed and a huge jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Free drinks and food during kickback time 5:30-7pm was a lot of fun! Bartender Annette makes an incredible RumRita. Cons of the stay were, not knowing about paid parking. You pay $29 a day for parking or else park away from hotel (it is valet which is nice because you just text the valet for your car and they have it pulled up and ready to go in like 10 minutes), the second con to our stay was the beds wasn't too comfy (it was a very worn spring mattress in which you could feel the springs) and lastly the noise in the hallways wasn't terrible and usually died down around 10:30 but the doors are very thin for sure. The walls are good and we had no noise from the people above us just the hallway noise. It was really hot when we stayed there so naturally the ac in the room had a little bit of an issue keeping up with cooling the room down especially when the sun shifted and was bearing straight down on our side of the room (completely to be expected and wasn't awful). Free breakfast was okay, it was pretty standard with the powdered eggs, frozen sausage patty, microwaved potatoes, biscuits, gravy, pancakes that i wasn't crazy about the taste of, cereal, pastries, oatmeal and fruit. I really feel like for the price they charge per night, especially weekend nights, they could do a lot better comfort and breakfast food wise.
