We were two Moms taking our kids out on the town and enjoyed the Sylvia. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and the location was perfect. I love that they hold on to the rich history of this property and showcase it through the artwork on each floor and in the lobby. Our kids loved reading about the cat! We did the aquarium, Stanley Park, and walked through English Bay and surrounding areas. I felt safe in this area of Vancouver- even after dark. We enjoyed dinner at Craft just down the street and breakfast the following morning at The Portrait. Both were fabulous and just what our little group of 4 was looking for. The lounge at the hotel was classic and we were able to enjoy a happy hour. Both the lounge and restaurant were busy and bustling with happy customers while we were there- I wish we could have had one more open meal to try it! We will be back!
