We enjoyed the location with the ability to step outside and have multiple dining options available, walk or bike ride the path with free bikes. The hotel was clean and quiet with fast elevators. Indoor and outdoor pool was clean with reasonable hours. Our views from our room were breathtaking and definitely our favorite aspect of our stay. Room service good for staying in and was always faster than estimated time quoted.

We stayed for Thanksgiving weekend and had a lovely stay, but the Thanksgiving dinner while great value for money and really delicious was served in the restaurant bar area where they had extremely loud obnoxious music playing that they said they couldn’t turn down and it really spoiled it. It was very unsuitable for dining Like Honky Tonk guitar and ZZ Top and very loud whining Guitar riffs sounds not pleasurable at all while trying to chat over dinner ( parents are in 90’s) Then the breakfast on the Monday, being a holiday, we assumed would be a brunch style breakfast, but it was just the normal breakfast time and they close the kitchen at 10:30 and we didn’t get in till 10 so we felt rushed and uncomfortable, and that was due to the staff at the desk, waitress was delightful however and again the food was quite lovely. We had considered doing a Christmas stay, but we’re kind of thinking about it now because we’ve done Christmas before when they had the pods for Christmas dinner and that was lovely, but I don’t think I could sit through Christmas dinner in that environment in the restaurant unfortunately. Otherwise the hotel itself was very nice and very easy and pleasant

My wife and I have been going to the Bayshore regularly for years. Unfortunately covid disrupted our annual visit and we finally got back there this year. We noticed that inflation elevated our prices but went with it anyways, what is unfortunate is how many things have been reduced or eliminated from services that we had come used to. So more money and less comforts. Not great. Although it’s great to see them be environmentally friendly by removing water bottles that could be way better communicated before arrival so steps can be made. We certainly get 2-3 emails before the arrival, usually selling upgrades, parking, or local experiences. Why not tell us the fitness room is closed or bring your own bottle ??? I think we’re going to move on and look at options spots to make are Vancouver trips happen again. We are regular Marriott travelers and it seems like they are going down hill. We like this hotel, being a nicer part of Vancouver downtown from our perspective, very close to Stanley Park & the Seawall walks. This hotel looks a bit dated from outside but all internals are perfect. It will be even better after the new gym area is open. There are a lot to offer in the hotel, swimming pool, cedar wood sauna cabins, yoga classes & a nice spa. We had a lunch at Tasting restaraunt in the hotel. Foods are great and the service is great too. I would definitely stay again here next time when I come back to Vancouver.

The staff were qll exceptional.and made you ferl very confortable. After a stressful drive to get to hotel.the front desk people were able to give us early check in which was most appreciated.
