"Two queen with patio - harbour-view"
At first glance upon entering the room, it's spectacular! It's a standard size room but with a patio (if you ask for it). The hotel is on the older side but maintained to an acceptable level. The sink doesn't drain nicely but the shower is fine. This hotel doesn't have A/C but I was there with a friend in the summer with the patio doors closed (to prevent any bugs from flying in) and we slept without a problem. They provide a commercial level fan but it's really loud. We tried leaving it on on the first night but we couldn't sleep. It's nice to wake up to the harbour-view. The staff are pretty friendly. A new manager started not long before we arrived so he was extremely courteous and friendly.

"Nice hotel in a quiet wooded area. Serene .. "
The Manager was amazing, so helpful, polite a real gentleman. He made sure we were well taken care of, even drove us into town .... twice! Lovely breakfast was included, my friend and I have no complaints at all. We highly recommend the Seabreeze Inne and I would stay there again while visiting Salt Spring Island. A totally fabulous experience.

"Great, quiet location and friendly staff!"
My husband and I stayed at the b&b for two evenings in July. We really enjoyed the quiet location and felt that we were a quick drive to everything. A small beach on St Mary lake was right down the hill, it was busy in the afternoons, but perfect for an early morning or late evening swim. Sue & Chris were great hosts, it was an easy check-in and they gave us lots of great suggestions and tips. Breakfast was delicious and Sue was very accommodating if we needed it earlier for market day! We would definitely recommend this B&B to any couple looking for a quiet getaway and would stay again!

"Very Relaxing"
My husband and I and our dog really enjoyed our stay. We had a one bedroom cabin. It was basic but had all the necessities - heat, hot water, and a basic kitchen with stove and fridge. The bathroom had a decent tub and shower. I was glad I brought my own shampoo as I only saw a couple of little packets and there was not a hair dryer. We took advantage of the fireplace and enjoyed the wharf in front of the cabin. The bbq takes briquettes. We knew nothing about cooking with briquettes and learned the hard way that they have to burn for about an hour before you can cook the food. There were also canoes available for use, so we took one out with the dog in the middle.:) People were swimming, but the water seemed really cold. At night, there is not much to do except listen to about a million frogs, so we played board games and watched dvd's. Not sure about driving on that road in the dark, probably best to arrive in daylight. I did not see any lights along the road. My husband will not camp, so this is the closest I could get, and it was an enjoyable experience. We will go back.

"Three-day luxurious get-away on Salt Spring Island"
Jacqui and Dan, the hosts, were very friendly on arrival and departure, but otherwise we didn’t see them. Our suite was roomy and had all sorts of extras, comfortable deck with fabulous view, inside hot tub, also with view, fireplace, flat screen TV with 100 DVDs at our disposal, complete kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, dishes and continental breakfast. We had direct access to the beach down some stairs. The location was ideal with the best “Fish Restaurant” on the Island 2 blocks away. Our hosts went to a lot of trouble to have on hand “coffee table books about Saltspring Island” and many brochures and much information covering the gammit of adventure, hiking, Studios and art works, local farms and produce, events, shopping, etc. We had a great three day week-end; we’d love to go back again!

"Spectacular View"
Stonehouse B+B is a spectacular place to stay on Salt Spring Island and we felt like welcomed guests visiting friends. The house is spacious and modern with state of the art sound and lighting systems. We had our own private entrance and had the option of mingling or not as we wished although breakfast is definitely a group experience. It's not my favorite thing to be friendly in the morning but Michael's creative and delicious breakfasts made it worthwhile. The wide open view of the Gulf Islands was breathtaking and highlighted by Stonehenge type sculptures that added to the experience. Michael and Andrew had tons of ideas on things to do and places to eat and were able to book us a kayaking tour even though we waited until the last minute. I just wish we could have stayed more than two nights.
