"We had a quick one night stay in a 2 queen bed room. Room was a good size with nice patio. Well equipped with robes, slippers, wine glasses, corkscrew. Nice area for walks along the shore, and close to good restaurants. Great large tub for anyone who enjoys a good soak. Will definitely stay again. "

"Sweet ocean front hotel. You cannot beat the view of the water. The pool and hottub were great, though jets didn’t seem to work in hottub. The hotel is older so don’t expect very new looking rooms. Nonetheless, it was a perfect stay for our first visit to cowichan area. We dined at a few restaurants down the way and masthead was our favourite for dinner! "Reserved a larger room than one assigned. Correct room was offered, but it seemed that 3 people would have to change rooms. I just wanted a bed and some sleep, so stayed in smaller room. No problem. Staff offered a nice split of bubbly as apology. Was thoughtful and happily accepted. Noise levels and dog barking well into quiet hours (after 22:00) was unacceptable. Nothing was done about this.
